In bangladesh 90% of the rajbaris were owned by the hindus..After partition bangladesh govt and the people there neglected these heritage buildings (mostly)..Now bangladesh has become one of the most corrupted country in the world.A converted islamic nation is destined to deteriorate.Even to get independence from pakistan received major help from India. But they forgot all the help they have got from India instead play sync with Pakistan who gave them only atrocities, torture and humiliation..
Superb video and excellent narration of a beautiful example of a 19th century palace, I visitied here two years ago, and unfortunately there was little access to the rooms inside the palace. This is probably the most interesting of historic buildings in Dhaka! Even houses the skull of Abdul Ghani's favourite elephant - Feroz Jung!
Awesome video. but whats up with the Rabindra shangeet. this is Ahsan Manzil not some thakur manzil. it very hinduish. sorry to say this but just because of the background music makes one feel like not watch it. disgusting.
Thank you for mthe comment on the video. The background music is not a Tagore song. It is a Khyal by Pandit Jasraj; and the reason for choosing this music is that the Nawabs used to patronise these kinds of music.
