@rhyshale hey. I wish you'd been standing in my living room when I came up with the idea of forward-facing sonar for a helicopter... Long story short, yes it did affect the sensor. As soon as the helicopter took off it would fly backwards at a massive pace. I intend to point the sensor downwards instead and focus on hover-height control in the future.
