  • Slide bite.

  • great review~ I'm about to 'pull the trigger' on one of these and it seem better to me than the new FNX.

  • Thanks for the vid man, very informative like someone else said. I just ordered an FNX9 today, can't wait for it to come in.

  • Have this gun on layaway online :) (all black so I could get it to look like the USG later if I want) and it comes with night sights. $397+free shipping before DROS & transfer fees

  • I noticed you said no safety. There is actually a safety while the hammer is cocked the hammer realese will flip in the up ward direction an when the trigger is pulled the hammer stays put. Not sure if you already know. But just so other viewers know. Great review and yes too bad not much choice for accessories but thats what happens when a company is focused mainly toward military fabrication.

  • @truthplayer1 There are two versions of this pistol. The standard has a decocker only. The USG version has a decocker/safety that allows you to carry it cocked & locked (condition one). If he has the standard version, which it appears he does, then he doesn't have the capability to carry it in condition one. The USG also has front slide serrations.

  • i like the hammer 2 my friend. nice gun!

  • i really like the fnp line of pistols

  • You better watch out; Hilary Clinton is out to take our guns away.

  • Nice Weapon! Great Vid!

  • ok thanx for the info

  • Hey TBL, long time no hear from. Just picked up a flat dark earth FNP-9 USG!

  • With regards to guns going off when dropped, it can not happen on pistols equipped with a firing pin block no matter how light the trigger is. All modern pistols (Glock, XD, CZs, M&Ps, Sig, FNH etc.) come with a firing pin block except for a few rare exceptions like the SP-01 Shadow.

  • In the US you can legally buy a handgun as long as you are over 18 years old and it is a PRIVATE transaction. To buy from a licensed dealer (FFL) you need to be over 21. Another brilliant example of governement over-regulation and stupidity.

  • That's in all states.. or just texas and kentucky? lol

  • These are federal laws / ATF regulations that apply to all states but you should always check your local laws and ordinances too.

  • great video in your last video about the blackhawk serpia holster you told us that that was your ex's just checking lol this gun is awesome i have the same one that you have

  • THX FOR THE INFO DUDE.

  • I uh, noticed that you didn't drop the mag, rack the slide, and check the chamber the very first thing. Way to keep safe man ;-P

  • Awesome review. I fired this weapon for the first time yesterday but have been researching them for months. It was so comfortable in my hands, I loved it.

  • if any one wants to donate some cash for me to get one of these in a year send it on over lol.

  • its only around $500...

  • i noteis that the last few weeks rifles have drop in price

  • Really? That may be from the holiday season coming up.. That is what I'm going to wait for and I'm going to buy a few rifles. I'm only 19 so I can't buy a hand gun yet.

  • a few rifles are all was good to have

  • For sure.

  • @toolboxluis You look like you already killed someone before.

  • I have a question for you: Why is the minimum age for rifles 18 but for handguns it is 21? Wouldn't it make more sense to either (A) have them both at the same age or (B) be the other way around? (Rifles are generally deemed more powerful than handguns)

  • @SPeacock Bud where do you live? Here in PA I can carry and own a gun at age 18, I just cant buy it.

  • England. :(

  • @SPeacock Well, that sucks haha.

  • Not so bad - I can apply for a licence, but I got to have a valid reason - and I ain't got one. Oh, well.

  • @SPeacock Ya, no fun lol. I like my freedom

  • Well rifles are usually for hunting. But a handgun is usually for self defense and concealable making them more dangerous. You can also buy a shotgun when you are 18.

  • @SPeacock I understand the thought, but a rifle is considered to be more for hunting. Even with assault rifles though, they're hard to conceal. handguns you can stick in your waistband.

  • niec man ^^ very informative

  • thanks i try my best

  • great review I may get fnp 40 thanks!!!! that was a professional review.

  • thanks :)

i have Bing considering getting a another but maybe in .40 as a house gun

  • I really enjoy shooting my FNP-45. Its got great features and it feels more like your shooting a 9mm. It is hard to find a holster for it still, but I am currently using a leather holster for an XD-40, and it works pretty good.

  • love to shoot a FNP-45 thank you for the information about XD-40 holster

  • just got the fnp-9 put 250 rounds through it with no problems.. GREAT GUN! love everything

  • i bet you wher like dame i need more ammo lol

  • im tryin to figure out which one is more durable and reliable the ruger p95 or fnp9

  • that is a good question but from personal experiences i think i will stick whit the fnp-9

  • @gunnut3345 Ruger p95 is acool gun.. guide rod and spring assembly fails pretty quick but ruger custumer support is great and they will send u one right away.. also the ruger is much more heavy and bulky.. so those are things 2 consider

  • @fixxxer602 It's a cool gun if you like bricks that also shoot bullets.... :)

  • @a2birdcage yeah they are bricks.. not a bad gun for the Money though.. you can pick up a used one for about 200.. I used to own one but I couldn't get used to it..

  • For folks looking for holsters:

I own one of these and I use a Serpa made for a SW M&P 9/40. Fits perfectly AS LONG AS THE PLASTIC SPRING IS REMOVED (done by unscrewing the retention screw) . If not, it locks the gun at the accessory rail and the holster has to be taken apart for pistol to be removed. Gun shop would not appreciate that.

Other holster I use is the leather Blackhawk CQC concealment size 08 for Ruger85-94. Tight at first but wears in quick and thumb break can snap over hammer.

  • thank u for the information

  • Hey nice find on the holster, The Serpa is a great rig. By the way it is a ser---pa,, not a ser---pia?

  • I just purchased this gun without firing it but after thoroughly researching it for months, I absolutely LOVE it. Put 500 rounds through it the same day I got it! I compared it against the Springfield XD - XDM, S&W M&P, Sig 229, and only the Sig felt a bit better than the FNP. However, the Sig is in a different ballpark in terms of it being a metal frame and in price.... My .02

  • i am glad you like it

  • how 's the reliability so far , i am thinking about getting a sig but they are heavy and i might get a fnp 9 ? how's the decocker? why it drops so fast and heavy?

  • i have not take it out the last few months ??the decocker is great i love it is one of my favoret part on my FNP-9

  • Thanks a lot. Thanks for the vid's. I like how you reply to everyones comment too, cool dude! haha. Along with the cleaning video, this is probably obvious, but would appreciate the lubrication needs of it also. Thanks man! :-) (you dont have to reply, LoL)

  • hey no big deal it keeps me from going crazy LOL just kidding

  • Would you be able to Post a thorough gun cleaning of the FNP 9, perhaps after a day at the range?

  • sure give me a few days

  • Great Gun, Im getting the .40 Cal

  • all ways wanted to shoot a .40

  • Ive been told it has very little recoil, and shoot's similar to the 9mm

  • good to know

  • "if something happens at night"? You mean like chest pains? No disrespect. Excellent Review on the FNP9. God Bless.

  • LOL ok that was funny

  • I think this may be my second gun. I went with an XD and love it but got to shoot this one and really like it. Good review man

  • i wood not mind geting an XD .45 i gave one as a gift to the girl i was dating and she love how it shoot it was great weapon system i use to carry it some times LOL

  • This gun is DEF gonna be my 2nd gun too. It was gonna be my first gun but I had to leave the gun shop due to time constraints and went back the next day and it was SOLD! I then also bought the XD they still had. XD feels great too tho, just different.

  • well hope you get it i hear they keep going up in price

  • How concealable is that gun? How much did you pay for it? Did you buy it online or did you go to a store and if you bought it online what was the website. Thanks

  • ther very concealable 99.99 % unless i say some thing nobody even now i am carrying one

i only pay $250 i traded my S&W sigma 9mm and butt lode of mags at my local gun store

  • the fnp's i'v shot and looked at had safetys. to put the weapon on safe you push the de-cocker up.

  • luck you that is the one i wanted originally

  • Mmmmm, tasty bi-tone *drool*

Nice review man, I had problems with Glocks too.

  • thank you for the comment

  • Do you think this is good for people with small hands?

  • i think it is because its not an over whelming gun

like Smith and Wesson M&P 9/9mm or the XD-9/40 ther both all so good guns but for smaller hands their some what to big but the FNP-9 all some come in a smaller version call the FNP-9m if you have smaller hands all ways get a compact version of any gun that you prefer its better that way but that is just my opinion

  • GOOD VID

  • thank you for the comment

  • I've had the FNP-9 for 2 years now, and everything you say about it is dead on. Love it's dependability and simplicity. Makes for a very good first time shooter gun, as well.

  • thank you for the comment it all ways help

  • Sweet gun I'm considering a Glock 17 but this is nice. My hands aren't as big as yours so the slide hopefully shouldn't be a problem for me.

  • i shoot a glock 17 and 19 ther both good guns

is just the the slide wood slightly burn my web i hated that :(

  • Comment removed

  • 1:10 - 1:20 thats because u have bear strangling hands!!! lol my friend got 1 in 9mm for 260 used(all 3 mags mint)!!! i like the 16+1 capacity, and the flat vertical grips... for some reason it reminds me of a tt33(the feel/balance)

  • ladies love the BIG hands

  • Excellent and thorough review. thanks!

  • thank you

  • Great Review! If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for yours, and does it have the night sights? I found one at a local gunshop, all black, used, with normal fixed sights for $499. I felt this was to high. What should I offer?

  • thanks i pay less than 499.99

so a use one can go for about 399.99 to 450.00

because i have see pro bass sell it for around 485.99 New

and mine dose not have night sights hope that help

  • if i ever save the money i want a .40 in all black

  • hey man, nice review. you helped me decide on getting the FNP-9, thanks!

was wondering which uncle mike's sidekick holster you're using. is it for the 4" or smaller or the 4 1/2" to 5" size?

  • i think it was the 4 1/2

  • Bought an FNP-9 for my 21st birthday two weeks ago, I absolutely love it thus far. Great, great kit. Nice review man.

  • its a good weapon system i enjoy it very much so will you
