Yeah, yeah, everyone goes WHAT THE FUCK I'M WATCHING? But really, as a music video it isn't so bad. Matter of fact, i actually like the song. That beat makes my body wanna dance.
... I'm pretty certain that the costumes and setting is more from South America. I could be wrong though, but I don't recall llamas/alpacas being in Africa. Also, it looked like they were in Machu Pichuu.
also i respect south indian movies and culture and its not as if bollywood makes great films, 90% of them are crap as well... the difference is most bollywood films are 20% believable or realistic and south indian films (tollywood) are absolutely unbelievable and ridiculous... In that way, atleast south indian films are more entertaining coz you know what to expect (or not!)
im indian its absolutely fine to poke fun @ all this, it deserves 2 be made fun of because thats my first instinct too n some1 needs to pick apart d crappy films..just that d article is named as if it represents d cinema of d entire country which is far from true coz this wont even be understood by 15% of d people in the country... im from the west (bombay) i cant understand a thing he's saying coz this isn't our language(I RESPECT IT, just saying)..so just know tht this isn't "INDIA" as a whole
What happened to the days when youtube could stream a vid without the buffering circle being on the entire time? Or actually stream an HD vid period even.
The world "Kili" in Tamil denotes lovebirds. So the song Kilimanjaro in Tamil is actually a very creative wordplay of the place Kilimanjaro and Tamil word "Kili".
Don't get too confused, now. I am Indian, cracked brought me here, a little offended by the article yet seeing your positive comments here about my country brought a smile to my face.
@UncleBobIsAngry Sorry you were offended. Try not to take it too seriously, we do the same to Canadians. And French. And Germans. And English. And Japanese. And other Americans... Pretty much everybody, now that I think about it. I think it's sort of a way of dealing with cultural differences, or as a coping mechanism.
tl;dr Americans have a habit of poking fun at people and things they actually like.
So they flew everyone to South America to film a dance called "Kilimanjaro(which you'll notice is in Africa)" which has nothing to do with the rest of the movie? Who the hell is funding this?
....I haven't the faintest Idea what the heck I just watched...Yet some how, I have a sudden urge for Indian Food...DEAR GOD! WHAT THE HECK HAVE THEY DONE TO ME!!??
