Also remember that some medications do have a shelf life and will break down chemically over time
Even over the counter meds can break down into some pretty nasty stuff over a period of time The drug companies try to be conservative and put an earlier expiration date than need be because they know people will keep them longer than they should
Also some drugs or meds need to be kept refrigerated and will break down quickly if not
Fuel storage is tricky, because of the dangers and regulations. How much is a factor of where you live. If you have property you plan on staying at to "ride things out" then an underground tank isn't out of the question. If you have plans to go to "Aunt Edna's in Rexburg ID, then you should calculate how much gas it would take you to get there, and safely store at LEAST that amount. (Some Fireman write an say that you shouldn't store gasoline). Make sure you use some form of fuel stabilizer too!
USNERDOC has videos here on You Tube on how to sucher. He also has amazing videos on putting med kits together.

Many times with medicines our wonderful govt wont allow longer than a 30 day supply from your doctor so its difficult to get a stored supply of them.
