I didn't knew about the political views of LT and just thought "These are skillful rappers" - but the more I listened to the songs, the more I noticed the lyrics. Years later I became a vegan and found out that Promoe also is. Years before that I saw LT on a festival and there were almost only typical hiphop fans and not the revolutionary rebels, that you mentioned. Like me they came because of the music and not because of their "different thinking".

@avionCUmotor Hell I can. He's singing nonsense, not because the lyrics are wrong, but because he haven't done a simple thing to change the world we're living in. It's advertisement and dirty public relations he's doing, in favor of himself. Text isn't that deep, it's just very popular among people that feel like revolution-children, but don't make anything revolutionary. The song is a cry for difference, feeling like standing outside the public, but behaving on exactly the same way. It's sad

@avionCUmotor Yeahyeah, you know looptroop changed their style of music when they didnt have any more ideas (just like any mainstream: lil wayne or even busta). I've heard all promoe's and looptroop's albums. Everything after year 2002, "struggle continues", is just an attempt to play on people's weak emotions. Looptroop is dead as an entity (Promoe counts as a part), they even call themselves Rockers nowadays. Want good new hip hop? It exists. For example check "One Be Lo - True love".

My favorite band is Jedi mind tricks and as much as i love them, in the last months they slowly changed their flows, but I still respect them for what they are doing.
