@onlyfathskie I've had it for several days now. It's already released in Europe. It's a Nintendo 3DS exclusive.

The 3D elements are done perfectly (but I prefer 2D). It's about as close to a perfect port as I have seen as of late. Every bit of charm is absolutely present. The locations, voices and storyline are unchanged. It is literally the same game, only on a 3DS, in 3D.

Absolutely amazing port, and worth every cent for new and older fans. Nearly finished and I can't put it down.

Finally I can play TotA for the first time, now that it came to europe! It's AWESOME, even on the mini console 3DS, it's mezmerizing, I'm addicted to it. What really sucks is, that the price got suddenly unbelievable high in austria! I bought it very early, so it was 45€ (58 Dollars). 3 months later, it is 70€ which is 90 Dollars. Can you believe this?!? I was lucky, but it still sucks!!

When I saw this opening, it really blew me away. I searched for this game for YEARS... it really is impossible to find anyone who will part with it, and if you find a copy in stores, it's usually gone the same day.

Playing this game now. I just got it for the PS2. Unfortunately once I got to Choral Castle I had to use a save state because I'm playing it on the PS3, but other than that I have to say I'm really enjoying the game. Kind of disappointed that they didn't include the words on the opening in the US version, but otherwise it's a great game. Thanks for the upload.

@Zr388 well you could try dumping the files of the CD in your PC and Undub it or search if there is an Undub Patch.....then Burn it on a DVD-R......oh and Undubbing means replacing some files specifically sound files of your game with the sound files of the japanese ver. of the game......

To tell you the truth. ToS, TotA and especially ToV are superb games. But, I had fun with TotA but what I actually thought was perfect and beat everything else I've seen "Tales of" series wise is the ending. Mainly, Cause I like DBZ(Dragon Ball Z). If you don't know how DBZ and TotA ending I'll say some key parts which will be kind of obvious and spoiler-ish... Luke, Fusion, Epic, Transformation, Asch and maybe some other things. Either way its not really a DBZ(or any other really) fusion.

LOVE this game! sucks they did the same thing to the opening as in Symphonia (which is also epic) replacing the song track with an instrumental, wtf?

anime rules also, they really know how to keep to a storyline in the adaptations they do

Probably the tales game with the most dynamic storyline. They could have easily made this into an amazing anime. Loved every minute of this game.

P.S. The opening sounds alot better with words.

@AnimeNebula003 Really? I usually play -all- my "Tales of" games within 50-60 hours. I swear. I even do quite a bit of the quests. Not the boring ones that give nothing which are only like 2-4 of them. But, Yeah. I liked the new things in this game. But, I have to say. Tales of Vesperia is THE best. But, Most of the stuff on Vesperia wouldn't be on their if their wasn't TotA(Such as the free run in battle. Very very helpful)

Actually I think Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube is only tales of game that has been released in Europe.

I still can PLAY the game through... Sources and tricks without legal copy, what makes me kinda sad but... yeah

Also, god praise the undub patches. When English VA was quite good and enjoyable, VA in skits and other stuff is still enjoyable.

The only thing that I didn't like about this game was the sorta confusing plot, it tried to explain a whole world in a single game, which it did succeed at, but I'm still sorta confused at how the whole phonon and how fonic artes work, it got really confusing really quickly. And some parts of the battle system were sorta hard to grasp and understand.

Although it may just be the fact that I easily forget things, so I couldn't keep track of specific details

Tales of the Abyss definitely had the more memorable cast, and not to mention the villains were just as cool (unlike Vesperia, where they just throw in random undeveloped bad guys for Yuri and friends to chase after... did I forget to mention I rushed through ToV?)

Definitely set new standards to all future 3D Tales games as well. A milestone, really. If anyone has a PS2, loves RPGs and doesn't have this game, shame on you. XD

i would not go and say tales of series is the best rpgs ever man there story is usually laking. sure there gameplay is amazing but i always love a good story line to back it up. me personally i like abyss but i hated the main charecter i used guy throughout the whole game.
