OH MY GOD! THANKS A BUNCH! I was trying to kill all these monsters, so i went back a sequence so i could get full health (One shot woulda killed me), and got my 9mm back! >=( So this got me stuck for so long I just felt like skipping it but i wanted my achievment for 30G. So thanks a bunch, all i wanted was how to get past those monsters and that girl in the train part, so thanks a lot!

It's a standard capture card from Hauppauge with S-Video input. I use DScaler to do the capture itself then use a variety of software to piece it all together. Tedious work but worth it ...usually. :)

I would rent it cuz it's about 10-12 hours long and there isn't much replayability other than getting the Roots of Evil. Makes the perfect combo of great and game and easy achievements though

you have to have 30 spectaral vison to get passed the the curch and nearly 50 to get past episode 8.1

You can get spectral vison from killing those ....Root things....There on the GPS ...just go to that fuzzy curle on the GPS and kill it!

lol i did everything but im stuck at the part at the end of this video. i killed those bugs, jumped on the rope but i dont know what i do next. theres just another rope next to it. do i have to jump to the next rope? if so how? i tried pressing X and nothing happened

Yeah you need to climb up a bit and then press to the left and then X. Pressing X on it's doesn't do nothing I think. I never actually tried going up the right tentacle so I don't know if you maybe get eaten or something when you reach the top. lol Wanna test it out?

u seem to have quite a lot of ammo, how many full clips can u carry at once?

Not sure but I have had 5 clips before and picked up a 6th and it was in another space in my jacket but I dropped the 6th and picked up a handkerchief instead for later just in case. ;) Items aren't as sparse as reviewers would lead you to believe you just got to keep your eyes open is all.

can't say the same for the wii version though. 4 clips at once maximum and almost nothing except clips and first aid kits to pick up. there are no glow sticks, flares, hankerchiefs, flammable liquids and tape. the inventory screen doesnt even display the % of battery or spray left and you cant choose whcih hand to hold everything in.

To be fair a different developer did those versions but I do have to that the none showing of the % is actually a good and bad thing, I mean in real life you don't get an indication of what you have left and it would add again to the tension. :)

too much realism takes away the game's fun factor. any game with a HUD lacks realism but it never makes it unenjoyable.

That's the difference with survival games though, they are meant to scare you and make you feel trapped and fear about the next corner. If you've ever played System Shock you'll know what I'm talking about.

They are the undead so to kill them you can't just shoot them or knock them about, you need to burn them. In this particular section which is late on in the game there are a lot of enemies as you can see from the video but after killing them, a super humanz joins the party and they throw knives at you and are a lot stronger than the regular humanz who can take a fair few fire bullets themselves.
