  • who doesnt try to copy marilyn monroe

  • My Week with Marilyn brought me here.

  • Marilyn was so good in this role, I couldn't even imagine Vivien playing it.

  • marilyn cahract is so slow, its cute

  • omg! i just saw my week w/ marilyn too just tonight its was awesome!! i soo enjoyed it that actress did really good(;

  • just saw my week with marilyn and it was awesome.

  • @oxfordpictionary really,im not sure if i wanna see it.right now im leaning towards no but i might change my mind

  • On the set of 'The Prince and the Showgirl', a 23 year-old lowly assistant introduces Marilyn to some of the pleasures of British life.

Check out My Week With Marilyn in theaters November 4

  • people were so ignorant back then. They all thought she was stupid because she played roles in which the characters portrayed dumb blondes exc.. they asked her to play a dumb girl.. so she did so, why would she play a smart women if they asked her not to. only the great actors are the ones who make the audience laugh. she was great.

  • this is my favourite scene of the film, the "poor Hungarian boy..." is hilarious!

  • she's too cute

    so adorable

  • I love Marilyn Monroe, but this movie was fuckin' boring.

  • great film! it doesnt come alive until marilyn steps into it , never did like olivier he was having an affair with sarah miles around that time!

  • Despite Olivier's stodgy direction, Marilyn gave a luminous performance in this and completely stole the film from him. At least he made sure that she was photographed magnificently--with more natural hair color and makeup than usual at the time.

  • Love this film.

  • I love Marilyn in this film, she is amazing and adorable!

  • The camera loved Marilyn, and she returned the favour. Her beautiful face glowed and her body movements that were so sensous were so natural they cast a spell on everyone, here even the miscast Laurance Olivier. Her star will always glow in the heavens.

  • Laurence Olivier was awful to Marilyn and even to Vivien Leigh, when she died he wrote a book on her and said terribles things

  • @lady00010 I was unaware of this book- what is the title?

  • Omg this movie is from 1957 and its colour?=O

  • Wizard Of Oz was from 1939 and it was in colour.

  • It's Laurence Olivier, now Lawrence.

  • hope someone will upload this movie...i had only seen the later half of the film so....

  • i never thought it was lawrence oliver who was portraying as the prince...though i've heard of him just did not the prince was him...

i love his acting in this movie...

  • Laurence ;) I heard this was one of his weaker roles, and that's saying something.

  • Queen of Acting

  • how can you say that. she is amazing.

  • shut up u losers marilyn monroe is the most beautiful actress n the most talented she can act even wen her eyes r close

  • She's suppose to be drunk in this scene. I think the fault with the movie is that there isn't much to the story. But... Olivier chose Marilyn for what she could bring to the part. He passed up the chance to cast his own wife (Vivien Leigh), who had appeared with him in the play.

  • Vivien Leigh would have looked too old for the part. I heard he regretted working with Monroe.

  • he called her a "troublesome bitch"

  • @theatre2film With respect

it was Marilyn who cast Olivier, it was the first feature fim produced by Marilyns production company.

    Marilyn Monroe Productions.

  • shut your trap Soul0125 eww you sound like a jealous loser

  • i saw ur comment u posted on prince and the showgirl and u said that marilyn was a bad actress. incorrect! firstly she is one of the worlds most rememberd actresses. she is simply amzazing. olivier must think so for picking her for the part.

  • Are you kidding? Marilyn knocks Olivier off the screen. You could replace him with any leading male and the difference would be minor; replace Marilyn, and it wouldn't be the same film.

  • haha you got snapped on by like 5 ppl!

  • Lawrence Oliver is such a great actor!! He's great in "Rebecca"...

  • I think any footage of marilyn monroe is amazing because then you get to see her beautiful face at least one more time.

  • i love when she dirnk that drink and say i didont say that. but she does it in a way that so cute!.. dont you think?

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • do you have the rest of this film.. you see i have every single film except this..soo. i was wondering if you would put it up. i would be mighty gratefull.. o and its not just for me.. but for the other fuewers that would like to see it:):)

  • I'm sorry I don't have the whole film. Even if I did, I more-than-likely wouldn't upload it cause youtube would just remove it and suspend my account. Sorry.

  • just wondering. why would youtube suspend your account for putting a film on it. iv seen the misfits. niagra, gentleman prefer bloned(the full films) so how come your wont:S?? and no need to be sorry

  • just wondering. why would youtube suspend your account for putting a film on it. iv seen the misfits. niagra, gentleman prefer bloned(the full films) so how come your wont:S?? and no need to be sorry

  • Technically, it is against youtube terms and agreements.

  • Were the rest of it!?

  • her giggle is sooo cute

  • she's absoloutly wonderful don't u think?

    :)

  • Olivier never forgave Monroe for acting him off the screen

  • If you wanna know the real story about the making of this film read Colin Clarks Diary of the making of the rpince and the showgirl

  • I bought it months ago, but I haven't had the chance to read it.

  • The eyes of this man.Wow!Are they violet or blue?

What pretty music. He's got really good taste and has got class.

And the Prince is so passionate,I like that in man.He is in my book,in fact a 10.

  • no wonder men liked her then. she was almost perfect =x she looked amazing and she had a speechless beauty =)i admire her !
