I live right on this street... I can see my apartment. Yes it was very cool to have it filming here. They gave me 270 bucks to stay hidden while they shot..., and also it was kinda annoying too. They stored all the props right in front of my place. eh still cool. I actually wrecked a scene when I rode my bike right onto the set trying to get home. lol

OK I finally rented the DVD. Very cool in a Most of the exteriors were shot on this set. Motormouths record store was shot at my work location. I was debating shooting it and posting it but I could have gotten into major trouble.

Haispray Was set in Baltimore but I saw a Canadian Gas Station Esso during the opening song Good Morning Baltimore it was quite sunny actually

Have you actually seen the movie Hairspray? The wer filming the beginning of the movie, a scene that only has Nikki in it! Maybe that's why you didn't see them, they aren't in the scene...
