This film is great, and the circumstances reminded me of the Hungerford massacre in the UK, in the late 80s. The fact that it doesn't (thankfully) happen all the time makes events like this shocking. The Kiwis have made some outstanding films, and may they make many more of outstanding quality, like this!
I really love this film. So dark and so kiwi. I wasn't quite born when it happened, but my parent's vividly remember it. Pretty scary for a peaceful little island like this.
Because it is a film, and its very well made, not poorly made, but well made to the point of "greatly" made. That makes it a great film. But thats not all, its a new zealand film, This is why we add in the "kiwi" part.
Now, the truth of the story may give it more emotional impact, but does not alter the quality of the film (that's the "great" part if you forgot.)
So when we take all these factors into account and add them together we get "A Great Kiwi Film"
If that heppend now it would only take 1 hour or even less for the AOS to get there and then the army including armed helicopers, tanks and even the STG..
I was reading the masscare listings for all over the world and I came across this one here, which is right in my own backyard pretty much. I didn't realize they made a movie about it until I read the wiki on the movie. Big Karl Urban fan, so I think I'll watch it.
I live close to where this happened

This kind of thing, unfortunately, happens in America all the time.

@Mike8901000 Probably more often than some places, like NZ. But it hardly happens ALL the time.
