Here's a tip: Practice ollies vertically, on walls, and also your body, most commonly when you're just walking. I learned a perfect ollie in less than two months :)

@pforpaggles141 try not to think about it or tense up. You developed a resistance to it because you fear either you're going to drop it or not do it. So your mind decides not to do it at all to make up for it.

@pforpaggles141 It's a possibility. One of the main things about any kind of boarding is comfort. If you're not comfortable with it then you aren't going to be that good at it until you get used to it.

Just picked up my first fingerboard in years, and it is as tough or tougher than I remember. Popping is my problem. I can pop wildly with just my middle finger, but with my index finger on the board, it seems impossible. The tail just hits the ground and that's basically it...I think I'm too uncoordinated for this. :P

3 days After watching this video, I can already do ollie on a 7 stack ps3 case. This is really effective. I'll keep practicing until i consistently landing getting the height that I want. then I'll practice kick flip after that.

I can ollie but my problem is the air, I tried the kick flip for about 100 times today ended up like 6 successful kickflips I always ended up either landing the opposite side by lacking of height or too much flip. I guess I'll go back to step one. Improve my ollie to gain better height. It is frustrating indeed but I've read some posted in forums that it took 3-5 months to master the running ollie good enough to do a kick flip. I'll practice more

i need help i can ollie if my table is low enough but you can do it on a table thats higher that your waist and i can oly do it on a high table if i lift up my middle finger to get more pop. and i can do kickflips on a low table but not a high one.also on a high table my ring finger and my pinky hit the table and stop me from doing my tricks:(

something else that might help, is to remove the grip tape entirly so its just the bare board. this helps the board stick to your fingers more, it makes it way easyer, but its not a real ollie, its just a way to help u little bit more, when u've masterd the ollie, thats when u can get a board with the grip tape and start ur ollies!

Hey, very sorry for posting this here. I have a question about kickflips, but your kickflip video has the comments disabled. So I thought I'd give it a shot here.

I'm learning to kickflip, but I can't follow the way in your kickflip video. When I ollie high (moving back 1-2 inches), the board was like 'stuck' to both my fingers, so when I slide my fingers up, the tail of the board stuck to my middle finger, causing it to spin out of control. When I ollie low, I can kickflip, but very low ones
