  • Just listen to the flute piece starting @ 1:29

So many twists and turns and I can's express the feel it brings to one's soul..!!

  • did raja sir give the tune and the song was written or the lyrics was ready first and raja sir composed music to it? whatever.....it is a brilliant composition. no words to describe this beauty....

  • Very very su............per Golden Evergreen Song.

  • Arumai arumai

  • It makes you forget everything. Wonderful song!. Thanks .

  • Great song! Excellent music by Raja and it really suits Rajini's style!

  • This is the best best best among ilayaraja's songs.

Until I hear his another composition

  • OH WHAT A SONG FROM ILAYARAJA ,SPB & JANAKI COMBINATION!!!

WE ARE VERY PROUD THAT ILAYARAJA IS AN INDIAN. Pls ILAYARAJA again you would make like this song in your future movie.. No doubt SPB & JANAKI were one of the top singers in the globe .JEHABAR SHAIK DAWOOD. KADIYACHERY-TAMIL NADU CAMP- DUBAI

  • This gem is from Arilirunthu Arapathuvarai, the 51st milestone for great Rajnikanth. IR pioneers the long romantic pallavi, so beautifully rendered by SPB and SJ. Unbelievable humming added to the saranams, both at male and female leads make this an unforgettable song. The filming sequence does not match the sweetness the song generates, which is true with many such unique numbers. I think the lyrics are of Panchu Arunachalam who also produced this movie and released in 1979.

  • 100 days at midland ilayaraja spm panju and rajani gave a great film .

  • One of the best movies which recognized rajini as a Actor. Another one was Engaiyoe kaetta kural.

Then game the commercial THALAPATHI, which marked the land mark and from then it was ON and ON for Rajini and you could yourself see what he is today !!

  • This song is sung by SPB & Janaky. Film: Six to Sixty - EVERGREEN SONG.

  • This is an all time favorite by SPB and Janaki from IR of those grand old days...ofcourse, this song was popular for its breathless singing...Keladi Kanmani came after more than a decade if I am not wrong. Thamthananamthana is easy to sing - one can notice and take breaks in so many places...without missing the beat...the one old song that comes to mind is "kuyilaaga naan irundenna" where TMS sings the whole pallavi and anu pallavi at one instance non-stop.

  • Damn, thick girls are fine.

  • an ugly pair. who is more uglier i dont know. Does Rajnikant ever see his face in the mirror. If so he would never show his face to the public in order to avoid them puking all over.

  • @evertruly .... u have inferior complexity.... u r very jealous of him bcos he is at sky and u r at dumpshit......

  • @evertruly well dont get jealous.....you know his star value.dont pretend otherwise.....it is not us who decide what a man is worth.. or a woman for that matter...it is written by somebody even before birth..we just act it out with our lives..it is like a computer program...the computer just runs the program..we are just computers..the programmer is someone else..you can call it X Y Z or God or anthing you want...just think about it..you may feel more inner peace...peace peace..peace always...

  • Ilayaraja's another song that sounds nothing new always repeating same dablas very poor composition once again.... nothing new.... very poor sound quality,, just listen A.R rahman's song how it sounds.. the quality of music is amazing in A.R songs..

  • @4fun6 you might be an idiot. How can you compare A.R. and Illayaraja they are two different people with different styles of music and don't forget the most important thing which is they decades apart. It's like trying to compare two different movies that are made in different era.

  • This is a luvly song though:X

  • OMG,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I've seen RAJINI with many not so popular female lead and those were ok. But this FAT one , OMG out of the game man. What was Rajini thinking.

  • good old melody, malaysia vasudevan voice excellent, rajini is the same always great

  • makal, powerpack la

  • It is the song you will never getting bored by listening. thats Iraja prouct. Hats up to the maestro.

  • this song made before i born.....it'll go after my death also....

  • which movie is this??

  • Arillinrindeh Aruvathu Varai

  • if you watched the video carefully, you would have seen the name of the movie appearing on the video ;-))

  • Beautiful song. thank you for posting this.

  • Hey, Great Songs

  • dont know how to mention about our maestro and super star, best combination, aarulirunthu aruvathu varai.

  • When Keladi Kanmani became popular with SPB's "breathless" vocal, Ilaiyaraja said (in Malarum Ninaivugal) that this song right here was one of those songs in the same category that viewers/listeners didn't notice. Try the entire pallavi without a pause eventhough video wasn't made that way. The longest one however was in 'Pudhiya Vaarppugal" (thamdhana thamdhana...). Try its pallavi, or better yet and if you can, try its saranam which must be quickly followed by pallavi without a pause!

  • Good info, indeed!

  • superb song

  • Very sweet melody. Just reminds me of my sweet old days. The feelings are invaluable. Great Ilayaraja Sir.

  • Not only this song, the movie too is very close to my heart. The story is about rags to riches and the adversities a man faces inbetween.

  • no in this country can give such awesome songs like Iliaraja

  • great

  • really top for llayaraaja, though this is not the best song

  • Wonderful song thanks a lot

  • tank u pa

  • Thanks to Maestro IlaiyaRaaja...HollandÄzeezMohideen...
