Plan ahead. Loosen up that tripod.

Three-phase from a phase converter?
Three-phase on 208 Volts rather than 240.
(Three-phase has a choice of 208-240/480 taps.)

Actually, 3-phase sirens normally have a slower windup than 1-phase sirens.
