truth is that im pretty interested in all pick types and grips (because im not very happy with myn) and i will like to know what pick is that -is it like the shredder v pick or the fender bass triangle pick?
hey, im tjsolid jst wit a new account xD...umm u seem like a good teach...first dont mind me asking...how old are you and howlong have you been playing cause the stuff you are killer,.....and i need some guidance....
Look about four responses further down :) Yes, I would recommend You a DK-2, especially if You get the new ones with the Seymour Duncan pickups. Great guitars!
friggin great. i'm thinkin about getting that guitar. i cant decide between this one, ibanez rg1570, dean ml warbird, or a bc rich mockingbird st (the badass one w/ the trem.)
If You're asking me (And You are), the DK-2 is the one, in that price range. Check them out (particularly the Jackson and Ibanez) in Your local music store if You can, and decide by feel, but for me, the Jackson won me on all counts.
It's a DK-2, and yes, I put a Hot Rail in the middle and an HR-101b in the neck (That's like a Hot Rail but with more output), and a Parrallel Axis Distortion Trembucker in the bridge.
The DK-2 is a fantastic piece of gear. The new ones have great pickups from the factory so You won't even have to change like I did.
hey man, great playin! i was just wondering a few things... one, is that the SL3 soloist or did you put hot rails in a DK2? and if its a DK2, how is it stock?
Hey that is really sweet playing. Have you ever heard of the band The Human Abstract? It might not be up yout alley, but they are a really neat fast shreddy band, you should check them out! A song I like is Crossing The Rubicon. Anyway Great playing man!

hey, just one question
what pick do you use?
because the pick at 0:45 is oddly shaped
mickey007r 1 year ago
@mickey007r *laughs* How nice of You to notice! It is in fact a giant triangular pick! I've been using them since, oh, 1998?

Hi! Yeah, I work hard to tweak, and I'm very happy with it to be honest. Has a lot to do with the pickups of course.
