Five stars, for putting this forth -- it's a great coordination puzzle, something that can be learned with practice, and worth the effort. (I work with old folks, and keeping the mind/body connection limber and going is important.) I'm using this one! Thank you.
Nothing new, not worth sending in a comparative video. I've been doing this "trick" for at least 30 years. It's an exercise I started spontaneously doing to limber up for piano playing - not sayin it was new then either.

why is your wedding ring on your right hand?

The video is flipped - the ring is actually on my left hand, and I'm right handed.

Oh, and ya gotta go faster than that and switch sides. Bonus points if you can do it without stopping. That's hard for me to do too.

It's also tricky to flip over either hand

Bram, you're such a nerd!
Lovely trick to drive other nerds crazy. I surmise it will be all the rage in the next Ubuntu release parties ;-)
