In the coming decades ahead of us,when the Totalitarian-Corporate-Communist,Zionist-Catholic Anti-Christ will finally achieve complete World dominance--well this sort of "punishment" will be once again delivered upon those, who will refuse to stoop to the Number of the Beast. So,in turn, well all of us will soon have to decide:burn for a minute...; or for eternity.
actually the tying of gunpowder to people in these circumstances done little more than inflict more burns on the body and did not kill the person any quicker.
That's a lovely thing to see in this day and age...
Blue-Laws kind of suck, and generally people that did and still do this kind of thing suck...
They called the hangings being cursed from a tree and most of the time as a part of forced mutual objection to the victim they were forced to cast stones and the person while they were being hanged like Judas...
Chains were used to bind her body firmly to the stake at the ankles, knees, waist, chest and neck. Because of her recalcitrance she was burned alive slowly rather than being strangled first or burned quickly. Those who saw her execution were impressed by her bravery, and reported that she did not scream until the flames reached her chest. The execution lasted about an hour and Anne was unconscious and probably dead after fifteen minutes or so.
If you read up on her life, her execution was far worse. She did not have gunpowder tied around her neck to mercifully kill her. She was slowly burnt alive and it took her around 30 minutes to die. Awful.
I wasn't aware of the details but that's horrible. I did read that if the wanted the victim to suffer longer they'd use less kindling and usually wet it, so they'd basically be slowly cooked
@acer3573 They always fucking scream. Nobody just, 'doesn't scream' to being burned alive. People aren't the most trust worthy sources in the world. People burn people alive at the stake. Why the fuck would you trust anyone that stood there and watching that happen?
@strikerk Thank you. If you read the 'Catholic Encyclopedia' it's full of accounts of martyrs who remained serene and beatific while being drawn and quartered. I'm sorry, but no. It doesn't happen. These things get rewritten to serve some agenda and try and depict the condemned as somehow transcending physical pain because of their faith. It's bollocks.
@HappyHooker83 hmm, thats why black people hold the highest percent of crime in the WORLD. Gang members, assaulters, rapists, murderers...you come in all varieties...
@mrpaulmarquez1 Actually, SPIC, check the FBI stats: Whites rank in ahead of blacks at 40,000 something rapes per year while blacks commit 2,000. Most of that is inflated because of YOUR people, the spics. You are known to commit rapto which is a practice of kidnapping and raping womyn as per custom in Mexico as well as all throughout south america, You accuse us of being killers, yet you all spics lead in rapes! LOL! How sad!
@HappyHooker83 yup, (still wonder why you call yourselves niggers?)
anyways, why do you assume im mexican lol. i mean, it doesnt afect me at all but just so people dont call you a nigger (ignorant) you should check out the fact (im spanish, living in france) ok, now you can make up as many insults for a spaniard...have fun
@guywithacamera416 Actually in those days it was a common practice for friends of the condemned to provide gunpowder to hang around there neck to relieve suffering.
@mrpaulmarquez1 Actually she did not get rid of many protestants as there are still many Protestant churches at the time - Catholic were known to have lived in the north while majority of Protestants were in the south.
The worst killings of Catholic occurs in Ireland, even Cromwell tried to make Irish suffer too. Mind you I am Protestant but today both Catholics and Protestant live peacefully together in the UK except perhaps in Ireland, north and south.
@DavBlc7 still, she's my favorite. and im sorry about you being protestant. and btw no, the few protestants i know are completely hostile against catholics, especially in the US, in England, its not that bad but in the US, man, they're crazy
@jck148 what's terrifying is that she's climbing in the polls. It's the first time I'd actually consider leaving the country over politics, but I just wouldn't feel safe. I think America is the one developed country that would actually go back to burning people alive.
Sorry for saying that, but scene is a totally untrue. 1. No one used gunpowder (as it was highly explosive!) to regular executions on stake! In middle ages gunpowder was used to execute people during Hussite wars (mostly to the Catholic priests and monks) by the Hussits - but never 'cojoined' with stake 2. The wood was not so dry, so then victim had been dying for few hours, not to quickly 3. If you got mercy - then you got your neck broken and then corpse was still burnt
@LadyAmaltheaUnicorn I can not imagine what kind of death what would be in either case. Hard to belive that it was the English who did this who are know for being so proper and kind. Things change I guess.
in all fairness, every part of the world did, and some still do, perform brutal forms of torture on people. Sadly, this is a condition of the human being and can't be blamed on any nation of people in particular
@LadyAmaltheaUnicorn in the 13-14th century in the Inca/Maya's tribes, the torture length and the method used mainly depended on the victim 's reaction to pain. The one that shouted before even the procession started would expected to be tortured much longer than the brave and resilient one.
But the devices were far less sophisticated. They were slowly burnt alive or put head and feet up side down and then cut into pieces so that blood still flooded through the heart and organs... horrible.
didn't know that, but thanks for the info. You just proved my point from earlier that people all over the world through time have done sadistic things to people
How anyone could just stand there and watch someone burn to death is absolutely disgusting. But they did get it wrong here; the crowd would normally be laughing and shouting and making a mockery of the person being burned.
Sadly, people were sometimes - if not always - burned because of their lack of faith. I'm not a religious person, and I'd be shit scared to reveal that if I lived in that time. I can't believe the lengths that humanity can fall to.
@HellAngelsBells then people were far more used to death; parents watched their children die, their own parents dying, wars - for them execution was exactly the same as for you watching action movie in TV...Just now people are oversensitive and plenty of them after seeing pig killed for sake of having pork, just turn to vegetarianism instead. No one usually got burned because their lack of faith (lol how can you measure that?!), but rather spreading heresy, false accusations or political issues.
@Charlz5544332211 no the one they do now is worst they send them to a big fireplace and stick them in their and lie them down on the buring sticks and if they dont die within 2 hours they get heated sticks at like 2000F and hit them with it all while there insides are a fiery mess...
idk why but i enjoyed watching that person burn at the stake when i heard of this in global history im like thats just wrong then when i see it formyself i can see how ppl enjoy it
Does anyone else realize that the same Anne Seymore in this video is the same Anne Seymore that was beheaded like 12 episodes after this one????? that's ironic!
And NO I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT LADY JANE SEYMORE... I'm talking about Anne who was killed for treason and not associated with Lady Jane. At least i'm pretty sure they weren't associated with each other. But no I am not talking about lady jane im talking about Lady Anne Seymore.
Anne Boleyn is the one who gets beheaded, and the one who is burnt at the stake is Anne Askew. The woman giving the gunpowder to the execution is Anne Seymore
@houhoubueu Basically for being protestant and not Roman Catholic. The Catholics were a whole lot like the radical Jihad of today back then. The Catholic church thought that if you were not with them you are AUTOMATICALLY Against themin which, MADE YOU A PROTESTANT AND A HERETIC. She believed in the true aspect of God not the Pope. I did a history report on her in high school, look "Anne Askew" up and read more about her, she was pretty cool. R.I.P. LADY ASKEW!
@countrywillneverdie Those were the old Catholics though. Please don't think that the Roman Catholic church is still like that because it hasn't been for a VERY long time and hopefully never will be again.
Does anyone else realize that the same Anne Seymore in this video is the same Anne Seymore that was beheaded like 12 episodes after this one????? that's ironic!
Couple of things they got wrong, first the gunpowder was an official act, and she was executed along with others and accounts say she didnt scream, unlike the others, so my saying is she took it well.
No, no, no. They got it all wrong. In medieval and renaissance, people were treating such events as entertainment. In reality, the crowd would be cheering and laughing at the burning woman.
Also-the very point of tortures before leading a heretic to stake was to cleanse his/her mind of heretical thoughts and fill it with faith. Indeed, the heretics whose minds have been indoctrinated during the tortures earlier greeted the merciful flames of stake with joy rather then fear.
Indeed. You would think that the heat itself would have burnt the upper part of her body at least a little, yet it seems it was too gore-ish for the creators of the series to include.
The human is the most cruel and violent creature on earth. No other creature can conceive such horrible ways to harm earths other creatures. To be inhumane to other creatures is part of our human nature, even though most of us succeed in repressing it. All this makes me think that human beings are not natural beings on earth. We may be a hybrid, genetic experiment 'created' on this earth by others as a slave work force, and then left behind when no longer needed.
@pcollenYT hey sir guess what dont call humans cruel call the indivualds who are cruel we have our own minds so dont think evry one is inhuman PS your a human
@pcollenYT Equally, we are capable of the most kind and selfless acts imaginable - read for instance about the titanic and the people who gave up their chance of survival by giving their places in boats to children and women.
@pcollenYT Oh jeez. You're one of those conspiracy wierdos. We can concieve ways to harm others because we are intelligent beings. That works in many ways. From ways to love, to build, to explore and of course, cause pain.
@theblackmafia71 If you mean you're Protestant then I hope you feel better in the knowledge that Catholics did just the same. Mary Tudor, a Catholic, was named "Bloody Mary" because of all the Protestants she burnt at the stake, some of whom gave birth in the flames only for the newly born infants to be shoved back onto the bonfires.
@Bubo25 exactly! thank god that we as christians in england have moved on! though there is a other faith that I can think of that given half the chance would have no qualms ...I wonder who that could be!
@houhoubueu Roman Catholic, and Catholic doctrine states that once the bread and wine are blessed, it LITERALLY BECOMES THE BODY AND BLOOD OF Christ (making Catholics cannibals), Anne Askew, argued that even when blessed, the bread and wine were still nothing more than bread or wine, therefore saying that the church had no real power. Which they don't.
@mwillis1000 It's an execution as well as torture. Why else would they have people burned at the stake other than to make them suffer in their seconds? It's torture as well.
I think burning by the stake was the most brutal form of execution. It was the slowest and most painful death, most horrifying to watch cause the skin rips from the body and the smell of burning fat made it nauseating, and the most traumatizing seeing the end results of a charred up body become ash.
This was not a good thing t watch, (strangely i've seen it twice now!) It was a vile deed, and was commonly practiced by the un-holy wretches of the catholic church, shower of unspeakable bxstards!!!
So,in turn, well all of us will soon have to decide:burn for a minute...; or for eternity.

when it comes to cruelty and inhumanity...we are the best at it. What god can take a look at us and claim he{s proud of what he created?

We may be a hybrid, genetic experiment 'created' on this earth by others as a slave work force, and then left behind when no longer needed.

killer8479394 9 months ago
@pcollenYT Equally, we are capable of the most kind and selfless acts imaginable - read for instance about the titanic and the people who gave up their chance of survival by giving their places in boats to children and women.

@pcollenYT Oh jeez. You're one of those conspiracy wierdos. We can concieve ways to harm others because we are intelligent beings. That works in many ways. From ways to love, to build, to explore and of course, cause pain.
Jericholic129 5 months ago
@pcollenYT
It's the very reason we survived lol. We the biggest bastards of earth came to rule it. That's how nature works.

theblackmafia71 1 year ago
@theblackmafia71 If you mean you're Protestant then I hope you feel better in the knowledge that Catholics did just the same. Mary Tudor, a Catholic, was named "Bloody Mary" because of all the Protestants she burnt at the stake, some of whom gave birth in the flames only for the newly born infants to be shoved back onto the bonfires.
Bubo25 1 year ago
@Bubo25 exactly! thank god that we as christians in england have moved on! though there is a other faith that I can think of that given half the chance would have no qualms ...I wonder who that could be!
theblackmafia71 1 year ago
Our brains haven't changed in 50,000 years. We're still capable of extreme cruelty.

You know being burned at the stake was an execution not torture.
mwillis1000 1 year ago
@mwillis1000 It's an execution as well as torture. Why else would they have people burned at the stake other than to make them suffer in their seconds? It's torture as well.
mmmmmvodka 1 year ago
I think burning by the stake was the most brutal form of execution. It was the slowest and most painful death, most horrifying to watch cause the skin rips from the body and the smell of burning fat made it nauseating, and the most traumatizing seeing the end results of a charred up body become ash.
Drbolla345 1 year ago
@Drbolla345
There were 2 types of burning at the stake. One was when you burned to death, the other was when you suffocated.
mwillis1000 1 year ago
This was not a good thing t watch, (strangely i've seen it twice now!) It was a vile deed, and was commonly practiced by the un-holy wretches of the catholic church, shower of unspeakable bxstards!!!

And that was nice of Anne Seymour to give that in order to make her death quick. This was such a horrible way to die back then.

It was only women who were burned at the stake. They only abolished it in 1790. Scary shit.
Mind you, the last time they used the Guillotine was in the 1970s.
