  • The no go zone area.. How far should we stay from it.. Like in inches/ centimeters?

  • i am SO tired of clip ins and glue ins, i saw some like these for sale on ebay and would LOVE them! the only question i have is, can i use needle nose plyers? or do i need that fancy clamp

  • after the 3-4 months that they last when you remove the extensions to get them re fitted can you reuse the same extensions??? :)

  • @JessStarbuck Im sure you just get them pushed up so they are 1cm away from the root again

  • How long do they last through this way?

  • hi i just got 125 strands 100 are 24" and 25 are 18" approximately how many strands do you put in each row thanks

  • I'm so glad you posted a video that shows placement guides for these. This will really help me get mine put in. I bought mine from a wholesaler for a fraction of what I paid at the beauty store, and even smaller fraction of what I paid at the salon. I just need someone to put them in for me and I'm golden!

  • cant they fall out..?

  • Great video you make it look so easy. I would really like to get these extensions done I'n a salon as I'm bound to do it wrong. I have afew questions tho.

How do I look after/ treat these extensions eg showers and heat protection and brushing?

How long do they usually last if looked after rightly?

And is this a well known hair extension I'n a salon that won't be breaking the bank?

Hope to hear back. Thanks alot Emma x

  • Do these damage your hair at all? By the way, great explanation video :)

  • what is the best hair extensions the micro ring or the glue ones?

  • I am considering buying some of these micro link/loop extensions and putting them in, I just have one question about applying them. In your video you explain about applying them in a brickwork manner, but in some other how to videos they do not use this brick laying technique. I am a little confused as to whether I should use this technique or not, could you please explain to me the pros and cons of brick layering and just applying them side by side (without the spaces in between them)? Thanks

  • @MsSaschaLouise Sooo sorry for the late reply.......the brickwork method is the most professional way to put them in. If you don't , you can end up with each row sitting on top of the other. The brickwork pattern allows for space between each layer thus the hair lays nicely between the row below it. This is more natural and the only way to do them right! Hope you enjoy your extensions!

  • im gonna be doin this, just bought hair and rings from ebay

  • @applepie1991 Good for you! Good luck and hope you love the hair! If not, pop past dennipep dot com dot au and see what we have for you! :)

  • i have medium hair in lenght and thickness how many strands would i need?

  • @chloe3022 Sorry for the late reply Chloe..........I think at least 3 packs of 50pcs for you. You might have the thickness but not the length, so you would want at least this amount to blend in to look most natural. If you have got them already, hope you are loving them!

  • @dennipep im getting them soon now i know that you x

  • i just brought these extentions but the clamp thing didnt come with them.

is there anything else i could use??

    please help ! lol

  • @edenandrita Wow this reply is a little late now......so sorry about that :(

    ........how did you go? :)

  • How many are needed for a full head ? How many i tips would I need?

  • @ClassyNSexy1 Hi! Bit late now....sorry.......but thought l would reply anyway......................about 150 we always say. Hope it goes/went well! :)

  • how long does the whole process take?

  • @laceyluvslife Experienced extension artists can do them in an hour to an hour and a half, depending on how many packs are used etc. It is fast and very easy! :)

  • Excellent! Been looking for a vid that shows how to position them; like how many layers to use etc. Will show this to mummy and get her to do mine. Bought them off ebay. Save a fortune compared to the extensionist I used before (if all goes well).

  • @opalescence84 Hope you went well! Thanks for the great comments on the vid!

  • Such an anoying background music- well explained tho!

  • @chinchanchana Thanks for the feedback ;)

  • @chinchanchana Hopefully one day we will change the music.......but thanks heaps for the feedback on the actual explanation of it! :)

  • @dennipep Nooo don't change the music, I love it! :)

  • also

Can you do it with (tool) pliers?

  • @xBabyDgafLovesChadx ....cont......way closer to the 'edges' little by little and keep checking to see if it shows through. A little concerned about 'around the ears', as you say it is quite short. If possible, please contact us through our website, and we will be able to help you more in-depth. dennipep dot com dot au :)

  • I have short hair, very damaged.... My back hair probably to my shoulder and my sides to my ears kind of layered.... I just bought 300 strands off of ebay... My hair has no shine... (bleached it way too much) i want to be able to tease it and for it to look natural cause clip ins and sew ins have always looked noticeable... here are my questions... will this look natural with short hair? can i tease it? is there anyway i can make bangs out of these? can i do it on my own? so much more...???
  • @xBabyDgafLovesChadx Hi there :) Whilst it is best to maybe leave your hair alone for a bit and get it nice and healthy again.........if you insist wearing extensions and don't want clip ins, the ring hair would be the best, as they don't bond. You have 300 strands, so you should have more than enough to blend with your short hair. Around the ears though........you mean the bottom of your ears? If so, then it should be all good. Apply in the safest areas first, then work your.. (see next post..)

  • To mountaindew492: for some reason keep getting error when replying to you....

Ok, so a small crochet hook should work if you don't have access to proper tools. No loop needed. Just pop the hook thru ring, grab your hair with it, pull back thru the ring, and squeeze ring shut with your hair and the extension hair inside it! Squeeze nice and tight to avoid alot of slippage :) Voila! Email us through our site if you need more detailed info! :)

  • do these come with the loop? how do you put the loop in? I just bought the hair with the beads on it, to get this done. and my mom is going to install them in because she went to beauty school. but yeah just wondering where do you get the loop if it doesnt come with it?

  • @mountaindew492 Hi! So sorry for the late reply.........we don't sell the loops separate.......but you don't really need them........if they don't come with the loop, then maybe the beads are separate too? If so, just get something (preferably a hook made especially for ring extensions) and pull hair through the ring, slip the stick hair in, and clamp down! Exactly the same method as the loop one, but without the loop! :)

  • on my message below i meant if i buy ready-to-go extensions on ebay hhha thanks~!

  • @XxSydneyTimexX Hi there! Whilst the system is very easy, it is hard to do them yourself when applying at the back of the head, especially, so it would be better to have someone do them for you. 100 may be enough, but since this method is known for some slippage (famous for being the most natural method tho!), it is ideal to have some spare ones on hand. We personally prefer to dye before poppng them in, although each to their own on this one ;) Hope we answered you in time!

  • @dennipep thank you so much i dont know what i would do without you guys! but it kinda frightens me when you say slippage. with the slide slightly lower down my hair or comepletley slip out and fall out??? thank you so much!!

  • @XxSydneyTimexX Got a nice long explanation of that one for you (too many characters to put here). Please email us through our site dennipep dot com dot au and we can help :) But basically a few reasons: not enough of your own hair in ring; heavy or excessive brushing/combing; your own hair fallout (100 hairs a day), thus less strands holding extension in; ring not tightened enough (most common). Thanks! :)

  • wow this video is great!!! but, if i buy the extensions (already made and everything) can i just put them in myself with a pair of pliers? and im only really needing to extension out more towards the bottom of my head and the sides, so do i really need 200 or can i get just 100? and for dying, do i dye it with the extensions already in or dye my hair first, dye the extensions, then put them in my hair? i dont know i can wait 48 hours, i need to do it over a weekend or something. please reply, ty

  • I have this type of hair extensions on and I love them but it's been 5 months from when I got them and I got them while I was in Mexico for vacation. Now that my hair has grown they are farther away from my scalp and can notice them. All you have to do is untighten them, push up and clamp again with the same micro ring? Won't the micro ring break or not? Do you need the loop or can you push them up with your bare hand?

  • @selena612 hi there :) The ring should not break, especially if you haven't redone them before. Just gently loosen the ring with pliers, and push up, then re-tighten. No need for the loop, as the hair is already through the ring and you are just re-tightening! Just push up with your bare hand! Good luck!

  • How long does this last? and does it cost any damage to your hair? also, can you shower/swim with these on? what are the chances of these falling out of your hair? and also, how do you know when you need to tighten them and what all equipment did you use? haha, sorry for all the questions but im very concerned about my hair. oh and what kind of extensions would you recomend (fusion, ring, ect,) for a young girl like me? like with school and everything

  • @FuzzieBuddies Hi! Will answer in point form:

    1. Not as long as keratin, but still a good 2-3mths.

    2. Shower/swim? Yes.

    3. Most natural method, but higher chance than all methods for slippage. *Put enough of your hair through rings so is a little hard to pull through. Clamp tight. Don't pull too hard when straightening etc.

    4. When your hair grows, the x'tns will be further from scalp. *Untighten, push up and clamp again! Used our equip!

    5. We think rings are best for school! Up 2 u tho!

    xoxo

  • @kirstiebabeex Hi! Extensions are famous for those out who have thin hair, but yes, they are more likely to show through the thin top layers. Rings can be more noticeable than keratin, as you can reduce the size of the keratin tip by halving it for fine hair. Just make sure there is enough hair on top to cover the extensions! If wearing up, ensure enough of your hair underneath. NOTE: Because of the high maintanence involved in wearing extensions, bad treatment can result in even finer hair. xo

  • how much strands did you use here?

and how much grams were they each?

  • What website can i go to buy loop extensions?

Because the last website i tried to buy it from was a scam.

  • Thanks heaps!

  • I just bought some of this kind of extentions. I noticed in your video that you bricklay the extentions. Do you leave a slice of natural hair in between each row of extentions? How big should the sections between each extention be? 1/2" or a full 1"? Thanks!

  • @Joy2thec Hi! Thanks for asking! We recommend about 1 full inch between layers. You can always go back later on if you want to add more, but 1inch is normally spot on for a great head of hair extensions!

  • cool

  • how much will it cost if i go to a salon and get ring extensions??

  • @mara72793 It is so hard to say, as a lot of salons/professionals will charge as much as they think they can get away with. A good price is about up to $900AUD. This should include a complimentary check up visit for wash and dry a week after having them installed. Good luck!

  • @dennipep oh my goshhh...they cost a lot >.<

  • i have a full head, and each strand is 20 inches. so i have really nice "mermaid hair" now :)

  • I have a full head of micro bead extensions and have 100-150. It depends on the thickness of your natural hair and how thick you want your extensions to be also. Mine are 5g strands and my hair is medium fullness and is naturally curly.

  • Wow, that amazing. It look quite simple but id rather have a professional do mine. Great video :)

  • @HeyItzSara Thanks heaps! You are right......Professional is always the best way to go :)

  • Great video, thank you!

  • Excellent vid! Very clear instructions. I would have liked to have seen more visual on how to do the sides but great vid nonetheless! Five stars!

  • Thanks for shareing, is so welled explained, one question, where can I find the extensions? and one more can I cut strand of extension and then follow the nex steps?

  • You would need about 150pcs. So sorry for late reply. :)

  • how many loop extentions will i need for a full head ?

  • @jessie12xx actually you would need about 120 GRAMS of hair for thin hair, or up to 250 for thick hair. so it depends on the type of extension you get cause some come at .5g per strand and some come at .7 .8 or 1g per strand.
