Some of thewhistles are due to pitchig problems with her mic, and some of them were from the backup singer. And this was a great performance, it proves that she can still sing. Mariah just needs some rest, after all she has been singing for 5 years pretty much non-stop.

whoever set up the audio needs to be fired. the pre-recorded track that played the chorus didn't even remotely match the same frequency she was on. and the backup singers were overpowering. i hope they do a better audio check next time cuz this made her look bad. poor mariah

It's a problem with the volumes. She did nothing wrong at all.

(and that '2nd whistle' you hear is not her backing singer. It happened on Fly Like A Bird and when she performed on The X Factor. I'm guessing it's a problem with her nodules or something no idea)

That's not a human noise lol. It's a frequency problem with the volume of the microphone and the particular pitch she's singing in. That's not come out of her mouth.

yeah, have you heard she her vocal chords are different?? well she has certain nodoules that help her rich whistle register, i have them too lol, tho i don't use it. When she sings a high chest voice part, almost finishing the song, the whistle comes along withe her chest voice... it's weird lol

it's not wierd, it's unique & fantastic because how many singers do you know that can combone their chest voice w/ their whistle register? more or less whistle? none, besides her, christina aguilera can whistle, i'll give her that, but in no condition can she combine it w/ her chest voice unlike mariah.!
