pro tools is a very good software, but i think that's more sofisticated than ableton. pro tools is almost the standard in recording studios, so it will work great, but it doesnt mean that ableton won't be useful for E.music. keep using ableton and when you feel like you need more things for your music, use pro tools.
@dinglekane A few things I'd like to say:
1. He can talk. He just seems to stutter a bit and/or be a bit insecure. Don't be an ass.
2. Learn to be patient. He's taking time to explain everything we need to know. This is a proper tutorial -- we're not missing anything.
3. You insult him and do nothing but complain, and then expect him to help you by answering questions? Really, dude?
4. RELAX. You're getting so damn annoyed over THIS?! Seriously? I sincerely pity you. You seem to have it rough.

Yes, but you have to master MIDI in order to do this comfortably.
