its about his mother Judith Marie. she had a stoke and was paralyzed for 27 years even though she was put through such hell she still kept her faith. she died in 2003 of a brain anurism through the time she was paralyzed till she died from the anurism it was around 10,000 days the name of the recent tool album. the songs wings for marie pt 1 and 2 are about maynard pleading for her salvation !
