i own a stickshift 99 honda prelude wit H22A4 engine, n with Mugen sports/full exhaust. also put Injen intake in it too. n i felt so much different when my lude still stock but i dont know how much HP does my lude have now after i put all these in. can anyone help me wit me? reason y i ask this is because i dont really know much about car.

in my opinion h22 suck. if you put the h22 head on the h23 block it puts out 10 more horsepower than it does on the h22 block. and for the record haha h22's dont have 200hp. unless your talking about the h22a with 220 or the h22a that was made in usa that has 210. and for the lude to run 14's stock it has to be a cold day. my h23 no vtec with Intake, headers, no cat, full exhaust and a new h23 head ran 15.1 all day long in 90 degree weather same day i ran 2 stock h22's that were both running15.3

The H22A is USDM and J- spec is the H22A1 and the H24A. The type SH as the H24B which is the heaviest motor of all Honda.

LAME! civcs are family cars, preludes are way sicker... still family car. I had an 01 lude, with Mugen sports full exhaust, prelude type S stock intake with KN drop in filter skunk 2 cams dyno tuned with Apexi afvcII and tein suspension.... i NEVER had suspension issues. that means you lowered your car beyond its center of gravity, and have camber issues, you have no traction even on dry ground. Why do you have a gauge pod for a stock car..?

Civic had AEM intake, short shifter, header, downpipe, high flow cat, and cat back 2.25" exhaust. 98 Prelude SH Had K&N filter, thats it. thats why you dont hear vtec cause you cant hear his car over mine. LOL at the astro van comment, and lol at the comment a while ago that preludes have worse handling than civics. yeah right. i wish. Prelude>civic any day. I only kept up because of mods and people in his car. oh and yeah its a slow race...its at 4500ft above sea lvl. 0.o

Where's the vtec? Maybe old oil? Anyway The H22A4 (american H22A) Is in both the Base and the SH, 200HP and 155 lb/ft its the tranny that makes the difference. SH (super handeling) has atts automatic torque transfer system which moves up to 20% of available power from the inside wheel to the outside wheel on turns, making them handle more like a RWD car. Too bad the base is faster in a straight line.
