Also, if you think there's anything you can do to a Subaru, short of making it a full-race car that can take out a C6, you're ill-informed. The C6's top-end alone would be cause for your mouth to drop open. I've smoked many a STi and EVO and I'm 400lbs heavier and 75hp less than a stock C6. Silly Troll...
@CarOnTheWall A 2000 Trans Am, with nothing but bolt-ons. I daily drive the car, so I didn't want to do much to it. Intake, CAI, full exhaust, ported TB. It does good for me, but I can't beat most C6's and I eat STi/EVO's all day long. I like the cars and they handle like they're on rails. But, there's no comparing a C6 to an EVO and certainly not this C6GTR.
i have seen some fast tuners (and shot them for mags) but having driven some tuners and driven some vettes, it's just not a good comparison. the vette is designed for speed. almost all tuners are designed for economy and efficiency then hopped up in less effective ways. the tuners i've seen that can "smoke a vette" cost a lot more than a corvette, break down often and probably aren't really street legal.

I can't find the quote, but after the full article they mention that they brought in a C5 with nothing changed but the tires or the suspension and it beat everything else in the test. i'm not trying to talk smack. i drive an rsx type-s and i'm very proud of the fact that i beat out a 2011 rt charger from a light today, i just don't think the vette vs tuner is a good comparison.
