I almost always do this hair style but easier.

Step 1: Rubber band hair.

Step 2: Hair clip hair right on top of the rubber band.

Step 3: Done!

I can do this in like not even a min with a hair clip. You just pull it up like your gonna put your hair in a pony tail and then you twist it and clip it close to your scalp!

yeahhh this flipped pony tail doesn't look good with my straight hair. My flipped pony tail ends up falling to one side of my head. It look good on your, and other people with full-slightly-wavy hair. =]

HAIR TIP: When you brush your hair to get knots out start at the bottom and work your way up, when you do it from top to bottom thats how you get dead ends and your hair doesn't look heathly. =+) Bella

I used to wear my hair like this when I was a young girl, my mom had a plastic thing like your homemade one (homemade is always better!!) You can also do a reverse to give it a different effect, it won't be a high tail but it has a nice twist to it.

Not an overreaction because I spent £5 on a little gizmo thing from Claire's that's meant to do that for me, but my hair always falls to the side of it and it just generally doesn't work - then you come along, with what looks like a piece of coat hanger and do it flawlessly in a way that can't fall.

@lsilah yes u just pull the hair band back so its a loose high ony tail then on the rooot of your hair, you gently divide it to two sections the take the pony tail and pull through the hole between the two sections
