  • It's not "comfusion" but "confusion".

  • Ok. The english lyrics are seriously retarded. You should all click on the third (?) clip on the right, uploaded by "baflat". It's from the Minnesota concert. The swedish lyrics are so much better and... well... a lot is lost in the translation. I think that the Minnesota clip has somewhat direct translated subtitles. Helen is also in costume in that one. What many seem to forget is that she was the original Kristina and MUCH younger when the show premiered. :)

  • Made me cry.... Amazing

  • my new favorite song

  • my new favorite song

  • I agree with HeiJuLas, the swedish cersion is better, but Helen has an amazing voize and makes it as good as it can be.

  • Wonderful performance.

  • Dumbass - to reiterate - if someone doesn't have a good voice, do you actually think they're going to sell millions of CD? You're just jealous because your little Helen isn't as popular as Subo. It's eating you inside. And as for Helen having twins - good for her. Maybe she'll be better as a mother and not a singer. Seems as if she was such a good singer, she would have sold millions of CDs by now. Subo has just surpassed 20 million! Good singer? You bet! You jealous ole' heifer.

  • @damols

I find it rather funny and amusing that most of your comments on this blog are being hidden by youtube. I guess if youtube hides comments from idiots, they're letting it be known by that feature. Carry on, sweetie. You're amusing not only me, but everyone else on here. (BTW - when inserting numbers over 999, always add commas between three digits).

  • @canyoubelievethis220 I find it funny that you are so ignorant. and if I'm amusing people it's nothing compared to your stupidity and ignorance. I'm telling the truth, you are telling some "truth" that...oh, no, wait...you don't, only thing you write about is some mumbo yumbo about numbers of cds and interviews...you have clearly some issues to take care of in life, wishing you all the best with that.

  • @damols

No issues, sugar. I was just brought up to tell the truth and if you don't lie, you won't have to lie 12 more times. I always stood up for what I believe. And one of my favorite quotes is "if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen." Always remember that and you might go somewhere in life.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 good quote! when did you plan on follow it? it's kinda hard to discuss something with someone that seem to be stuck on repeat "bla bla millions cds. bla bla million shows. bla bla million interviews". I bet if you were me or anyone else reading our fight you would feel the same. and since I got more on my side, telling what I'm telling you, I mean, a normal person would get it...but you obv don't. and I feel for that, I feel...sorry, for you. what it must be like to be you.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 No personal offence to her, just this kind of shit that's today's society where everything becomes sensational depending on how amazingly good (or terribly bad) you look.

  • @maryjolly88

This was a time when everyone was shocked - to see this 47-year poorly-looking woman to come on stage. Everyone thought she was going to be a joke and she turned out to have one of the most amazing voices that has ever hit stage. With over 20 million CDs in less than 3 years, I would call that amazing, for sure!

  • @canyoubelievethis220 how many times have you told people how many CD's subo has sold?

  • oh god I just can't stop laughing at you! you're really serious when you mean that if someone has a good voice it shows in how many CDs he/she's sold?! you sad piece of pathetic human being! that's all. have a nice life.

  • This choked my throat...beautiful! powerful!

  • She is AMAZING! :O

  • also my personal opinion is that i would love a much stronger end (kerry's end) then helen did in this particular video.. again this is my PERSONAL view on this song!

  • i wished kids who are just trolling would just respect people's musical choices.. one likes kerry ellis, one likes helen's and one likes susan boyles version... my personal opinion is that i ADORE kerry's version, but i certainly can deeply appreciate helen's version because i can hear her sorrow which she is placing in the song... and thats what music is all about!

  • well i'm quite used to Internet forums so you dont upset me. And sorry but nothing is working for you. But keep on going you might succed to emberras yourself even more, that would be quite impressive

  • Having a debate with you is like quarreling with an infant. You still don't get what we are saying here. Popularity has nothing to do with degree of talent. Our tastes are more acutely developed, and that is your loss. This conversation is over because you simply do not possess the intellectual capacity to argue effectively and you lack the ability to look at both sides and assess logically. Continue to purchase your music at your local WalMart and enjoy your games shows.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 you just made my point even stronger... rating skill by viewers... how ignorant can you get. I suppose you would think a Bieber version of this song would own everything, cause he would defenitely outclass SuBo in terms of viewers.

  • @mattiasskog89

    Dear Matthew -

We are not discussing Beiber. We are discussing Susan Boyle, a woman who has sold more than 17 million albums and who had the fastest selling CD in history. This in only two years. Viewers are mostly stuck on Beiber's boyish looks, so his singing somehow doesn't really matter. People aren't hooked on SuBo's looks, but hooked on her voice, which is another reason she continues to sell millions of CDs. Get a life!

  • @canyoubelievethis220 Don't you realize how alone you are to think SuBo is better amongst the people who have actually seen this?

  • @mattiasskog89

Alone? I suggest having someone read the comments in this section to you. More than half of the people have said nothing but positive things about it. Also, how many viewers have viewed SuBo singing compared to Ms. Helen? You and your little friends need to give it up because you're doing nothing except making fools of yourselves. I know music quite well.

  • @mattiasskog89

Alone? I think not. Look at the other comments. Go to some of SuBo's youtube pages. They are in the millions. I have seen 10 alone that has surprised 100,000,000. That's a hundred million. Not popular? Fool.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 More like a Chinese restaurant has a viral Internet campaign and gets people whereas another relies on word of mouth. The one with the viral campaign is more well known, not necessarily better.

  • @reader1993

No, like a Chinese restaurant has thousands of people talking about how good the food is, more people would go. If you've not really heard of the restaurant and looking for a good restaurant to eat, then the recommendations would be outweighed with a much better restaurant than one that is not as good.

    Nice try, though.

    Next?

  • @reader1993

If more is well known, people are going to eat there more and why? Because they have heard MORE people say MORE good things about it other than some other restaurant they don't hear about. Common sense would tell you that, but definitely you have none of that.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 Quantity does not equal quality. Justin beiber has sold more CD's than Bach, does that mean that he is better? Helen Sjöholm was not featured on a television show as someone who went from an ugly duckling to a slightly less ugly duckling with a kind of nice voice. Artists like Marky Mark and Vanilla Ice were really popular when they first started, but that doesn't mean they were any good.

  • @reader1993

You comparing an apple to an orange, sweetie. Quantity - 10 people went to a Chinese restaurant. 10 people liked that Chinese restaurant and told their friends. Their friends went and told their friends how good it was. How many of those friends told their friends? In a couple of months, I am pretty sure that restaurant had a lot more people eating at it since those first 10 people told all of their friends? Get my drift? If you don't, then you're hopeless.

  • @ZASS0N HAHAHAHA!! SPOT ON!! GOD I LOVE YOU!

"Cleary Helen is miles and miles ahead of Susan Boyle. Helen has more carisma and I actually believe what she sings. Susan Boyle stands on stage like a dead vegetable and I felt like falling asleep. Susan Boyle needs serious stage training."

some artists have it, Helen's got it. Susan DON'T have it. have you heard the story behind susans "amazing" audition in br got talant? I do know "someone" in the team. So when I say she's a product. Trust me

  • @damols

Your poor little thing. Susan stood on stage and sang her heart out in front of 22 million people. I have youtubed Susan Boyle and in her top 10 videos, she has been seen over 130 million times. If you fell asleep while SuBo was singing, it's those depressants working on your system. If Susan didn't have it, she wouldn't have sold over 16 million CDs and seen 130 million times on youtube. Please admit you're an idiot. We'll all feel better, including yourself.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 Please don't call us sweetie. It indicates that you consider yourself superior to us in intelligence, and I think we can all agree that is not true.

  • @damols

Wrong again, sweetie. SuBo has sold 16 million CDs and has been viewed over 130 million times and this is only on her top 10 videos. How many have viewed Ms. Helen? Maybe 750,000 on ALL of her videos. Surely you don't think the reason is because the Swedes do not have Internet, now would you? You and the others on here can say what you want about SuBo, but the enormous views and her CDs shows you just how popular and great she is. BTW - what is the title of Ms. Helen's book?

  • @damols

Again, sweetie - if Helen was miles and miles ahead of SuBo, she would have a CD at least in the top 1,000. What's this? She doesn't? Why not? SuBo has had a number 1 CD in over 31 countries. Surely "some" of those people in "those" countries would like her, wouldn't you think? I doubt that many people have even heard of Ms. Helen. Surely, wouldn't you think? I bet if you mentioned the name "Susan Boyles", it would be much, much, much more recognizable. Take an Advil, sugar!

  • @canyoubelievethis220 Just because Susan Boyle was on some lame show where she was able to gain a huge audience, does NOT mean that she is an inferior singer. I personally detest the Susan Boyle version of this song. If your only contact with performance art is from TV, I feel so very sorry for you. Helen is a STAGE performer. not a person who one day woke up to fame because of some stupid game show. Sorry. But THIS performer is in another category altogether.

  • @swarze

She has been on more than one lame show, sweetie. She has been on interview after interview after interview and continues to sell millions of CDs. Ms. Helen might be a stage performer whereas only people who go to broadways shows ONLY hear her. Susan, as stated and you can't get through your thick head, is an internationally known singer, having sold more than 17 million CDs. Barely anyone has heard of Ms. Helen, I assure you. And a person who woke up to fame one day? Please ...

  • @canyoubelievethis220 I said Susan Boyle is MORE famous because she was on a TV show. Helen is from Sweden, not Broadway/ ( and BTW there are MANY Broadway fans, but I am from New York and probably more sophisticated than you obviously are, you ignorant pissant. Being famous does not ensure quality of performance. I have BEEN on Broadway "sweetie" and I can assure you that Helen is not the only performer who is of a higher quality than Boyle. You utter lemming.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 Susan Boyle was on a TV show, and got overnight success. Helen is a stage performer; an actress and singer. It is another world altogether. If your contact with performance art is through TV only, I feel very sorry for you. Susan Boyle got very far through a TV game show. Not close to what Helen or other stage performers do. Not close.

  • @swarze

Carrie Underwood, David Cook, just to name a few, were only on TV shows, also and look where they are today. You would certain hear their name more than Ms. Helen's, since she's only on broadway. I don't know of many people who buy recordings of people on broadway. Could it be that they aren't famous and ONLY on stage whereas people like Carrie Underwood, David Cook and SUSAN BOYLE are on television, newstands, interviews, etc. You are really stupid - you really are.

  • nice but nothing like Susan Boyle's. Susan hands down is far better.....sorry Helen, I will never buy a single recording from you....

  • A question for Damn Ols on here - how many CD's of this has Helen Sjoholm sang? What's this? A couple of thousand? My, my, my. Susan has sold over a million and in only 2 months. Sounds great for someone who isn't real. Who doesn't sing with emotion, eh? Someone who won't be around long, who has sold over 16 million. That's more than some artists who have been around for decades. I had better go and listen to Susan, though. This damn ols says she's not going to be around much longer.

  • I love Susan and she sings it well, and I get somewhat emotional in the end. But it cannot be compared with how Helen sang it in the Minnesota concert. I like this one a lot but that gave one shivers and made one weep. Swedish suits the melody best, that is only natural.

The number of records sold is not the only criteria, Susan was a sensation in the beginning and that still rubs on.

  • Beautiful translation. Amazing performance.

  • @ZASS0N

Ass On - Maybe you can teach SuBo to sing. Maybe you can teach her to sing like Ms. Helen. That way, she will sell a couple of thousand CDs next year and the year after that. If you clearly had any sense, you would know that SuBo has been viewed over 130 million times on her top 10 videos. How many has Ms. Helen's view count been? Answer: Well below 250,000. Now does that tell us that SuBo is a vegetable acting dead or that clearly, the world doesn't want to hear Ms. Helen.

  • An amazing performance as ever from Helen but I'm not crazy on the actual translation. It seems a little clumsy especially in the chorus where it feels like there are too many words being fitted in. It doesn't seem to flow with the music as well as the original Swedish version and therefore it just doesn't seem to have the same heart.

  • This is .. well.. I don't know what to say: this is perfect.

  • susan boyle....when you're at helen's level, when you have helen's voice...you might be allowed to think about doing "her" song....not a second before.

  • @damols

Blog when you know a little thing about music. Helen's voice is nowhere as strong as Susan's. Helen doesn't have the bass that Susan possesses. By the way, I can't seem to find Helen's CD in the top 1,000 of Amazon. Has it ever been there? Also, how many CD's has Helen sold? What's this? Not many. Imagine someone actually comparing a person who has made history at selling more CDs in a record amount of time. Poor thing.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 blog a little when you know what you're talking about. now you're just pathetic. if you like a singer with absolutely no feeling at all in her singing, sure, then you'll love susan. and susan can't sing this song with the same passion or nothing. she's not even close! does it matter how many cd's has been sold? really? I don't think so. Susan boyle is a product. Not real. She'll be gone soon. Poor thing. Wish her all the best though.

  • @damols

Damn ols - If Susan couldn't sing this song with passion, do you think the producers of America's Got Talent would let her sing it on their program (in front of like 20 million people). How many of those 20 million turned another channel when she was singing? It's doubtful many of them did. And if a person has sold close to 16 million CD's, one would think that she was good, except unless you were an idiot and wouldn't know about such things. A mirror might come in handy for you!

  • @canyoubelievethis220 You really are a thick headed person, aren't you? What so many of us are saying is this; WE think Helen (for whom this song was written, BTW) does a better job, and is of a higher caliber singer than Susan Boyle. Number of albums sold is not a indication of talent. It is an indication that she was packaged better. You like her! Fine. But you are embarrassing yourself here. You need to get out more.

  • @damols

Damn Ols - Another thing - Susan sold more CDs in one month than any other artist. Now surely you wouldn't think that a person who does that, couldn't sing, would you? I might go out on a limb on this one, but I bet you're one of the few. And Susan has been interviewed so many times and on so many shows. I can't seem to place one that this little Helen number has been on. Maybe because it wasn't viewed by that many people. Go and get your little Helen CD and play it, sweetie!

  • @damols

"Her" song? Maybe when Helen learns to sing like Susan; maybe when Helen has sold more than a million CDs; maybe when Helen draws all of the crowds that Susan draws; maybe if Helen sang a little better, she would have 16 million CDs sold to her name. But that's very doubtful since the majority of the world has never heard of it. I wonder why. Could it be that she is not that popular? Of course. That's it! She's not as popular as Susan Boyle nor never will be.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 hahaha! are you done yet? god, please! yes HER song. have you seen (or even heard of the musical on which helen sang this song WAAAAY back...) so it bloody hell is HER song. AND I'm not ashamed to say that I prefer Helens version, in this case THE ORIGINAL SINGER IS BETTER. you must be a deaf if you can't hear it. I. DON'T. CARE. HOW MANY MILLIONS (16..oooh...impressed?) The fact is still, that helen is a better singer than Susan the Product. End of discussion. Period.

  • @damols

Actually, no I'm not done yet. It seems as if you can't do the math. Let's put it another way. If there were two restaurants and one got 5 stars in a review (Susan Boyle) and the other restaurant got one review (Ms. Helen), what restaurant do you think people would go to? Got it, sweetie? 16 million CDs means that several million people would want to hear her than Ms. Helen. Share with us what top talent show Ms. Helen has appeared or even what show she has appeared. Please?

  • @canyoubelievethis220 you got any idea of what reviews Helen's performances (and the whole play) have received throughout the years? Look that up. And anyways, non Swedish speaking people only gets half the experience from this song.

And honestly Susan Boyle is not even near this performance, seriously. But of course she will have an youtubearmy who says she is, since she got famous through youtube. But in an historical pov Helen's version is the real deal.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 did you know that Benny and Björn from ABBA wrote this song in 1995, for the musical Kristina from Duvemåla...Helen was the leading acress? Bet you haven't got a clue, little ignorant you. Watch this and dare to tell me Helen is a crappy singer...this is in 1996, wonder what Susan did back then? had singing lessons?

    just watch this link:

    watch?v=8-WIfvPw8E8&NR=1&feature=endscreen

  • @damols

Who cares who wrote it, Sweetie? Cows are meat, but it's depending on who cooks it, as to the appeal to whom wants to eat it. Same way with music. A lot of artists write music. Whomever performs it better will tell the story. In this story, SuBo has already sold over 2 million CDs containing this song. Care to telle me how many Ms. Helen has sold? Maybe 5,000? No one said Ms. Helen is a crappy singer, but what I'm telling you (and millions of others) that SuBo is much better!

  • @canyoubelievethis220 I love the condescending way you are adressing people and then come with really strange, irrelevant arguments.

  • @Kimkimi1

As long as you're happy with the entertainment. These "Ms. Helen" fans just don't get it. If they knew true music, they would have an argument, but they don't. At least, they have convinced bloggers on here, for sure. And my arguments aren't strange. Perhaps you are taking them the wrong way. And not irrelevant at all. They prove a point. Like my father always used to tell me "if you don't like what's on that channel, then change to another channel." Comprende?

  • @canyoubelievethis220 Well as a matter of fact you're not in a position to say others don't know true music, the proof of that can be found in your comments below. And yes your "arguments" are very strange and irrelevant.

  • "If they knew true music?" Are you kidding? I have a Masters Degree in Music. You like Susan Boyle. Ok. Now just shut up while we listen to a true artist sing the song that was written for her.

  • @swarze

You have a degree in music? Talk about wasted time. Maybe get your money back. Me and 17 million other people like Susan Boyle. BTW - how many CDs has Ms. Helen sold? I can look it up but it will save me time by you telling me and also make you look like an idiot. Ready, Set, Go.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 I hope you are just trolling to get other people upset. Because if this is all you can come up with, then you seriously are stupid.

  • @mattiasskog89

That's your choice is you get upset. People keep arguing with me with their stupid comments about some woman that most people have never heard of. And all I come can up with? It seems to be working. People are believing. Only the fools aren't. Which group are you included? If you don't like what's on this blog, there are millions of others. Type away.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 are you ok? I mean really, ARE YOU OK? mentally? you alright sweetie? and how many million CD'S has "subo" sold again...? and in how many countries? cos that seems to be the only thing you can write about her.

subo is a product and people are making money off of her. why do you think she's was on the american show? cos she's the best singer in the world? haha! dear lord you must get some help. the sooner the better it seems, wish you all the best in life. may it be short.

  • @damols

Wishing to die early is really pathetic. From this end and what others have said when I showed it to them - this person really needs help. To wish someone to die is really not only pathetic, but sick. If I were your neighbors, I would keep a watch out of my eye of your coming and going. You sound like one of those who has a short fuse and when it gets lit, you blow. I almost feel sorry for you.

  • Comment removed

  • @damols Me need help? You're full of shit. If someone actually knocked the crap out of you, I am afraid you would become transparent. This discussion ended a long time ago. And everyone who reads my comments can tell that I'm what? That I'm correct? FYI - SuBo's new CD has sold 3 million CDs. And how many has Helen sold? What's this? She doesn't have a CD? Why, to tell you the truth, I haven't heard much of Helen lately. I wonder why. Meanwhile, Subo continues to sell, sell, sell!

  • @canyoubelievethis220 She has been pregnant for a while and is home with her newborn twins if you really wonderd where she is.

  • @canyoubelievethis220 just watched susan on americas got talent and...I don't know what to say?! how can you sit there and say that susan does it better than helen?? HAHAHAHAHA that must have been the worst I've ever heard! susan...oh god...what a complete disaster.

  • Omg,this is so beautiful, such a wonderful voice and so many emotions! I first heard Susan Boyle's version, and - here I am! I'm glad that I found this gem!

  • @ulix1234

I think it's fantastic as million others do. Some idiot (damols) on here is saying is a product and isn't real. She'll be gone soon. I think she has run out of meds. I mean, how can one say that one is not real when she has sold not 1 million, not 10 million, but 16 million CDs? I would definitely think that person could sing and would want to hear her for myself. I have heard her and she is much, much better than the raspy-voiced Helen "whata-ma-dig's" name.

  • Comment removed

  • @ulix1234 Check out the Swedish version! Much more heartbreaking. Helene Sjöholm - Du måste finnas (can't link it in here)

  • Wanted "Guldet blev till sand" in english

  • @Frickis There is a english version of Guldet Blev Till Sand, however it's not sung by Peter Jöback. It's on the cd Kristina Live from carniege Hall.

  • Kul att höra den på engelska

  • My favorite female singer. There's something odd about the lyrics though. It sounds so wrong compared to the original. But who can blame her, she's singing in a foreign language.

  • @Regnberg

As luck would have it, you're not going to get very far with a musical if you limit it to being sung in Swedish--unless you want to limit it to Sweden.

Were you at the concert at Carnegie Hall? I can tell you the audience was filled with people from every corner of the world, this song was sung in English, and the applause she received was as stunning as when she sang it in Minnesota. Listen for yourself. For 2,500 people nothing was lost in translation.

  • @YD8189 I agree; I was at Carnegie Hall for it. It was a very long flight to get there, but it was worth it. The crowd could barely stand it. It was unforgettable. In English, too.

  • A song from the beginning is in Swedish and manage to sing it as good in English is really, really hard. Speciall to make it sound pretty near the Swedish version. But I have to say that she really succeed :D

  • she's truly amazing.

  • She know, she know that the lyrics are all important, and that we must hear every syllable. Elli's version put the music first, and conceals the plain truth that this is a prayer.

  • I love Kerry Ellis' version, but this is a more moving version, powerful emotions. It must be difficult to for Helen to sing this in a second language, but incredibly well done. Both singers are technically stunning, Kerry perhaps has more range & power, which is understandable (she is known for her power & range, not her acting ability) Glad I saw Helen sing this in English. Thx for uploading !

  • @rondack17 how did you like the swedish version compared to the english version?

  • Incredible voice! This is real compared to susan boyle's voice.

  • Agree the Swedish version, sung by Helen at a Minnesota concert a few years back, is even more powerful than this one. The way she "lives" the story is incredible - talk about giving you goosebumps! I like the Susan Boyle version but nothing can compare to Helen's...Wish I had the chance to see/hear the concert at Carnige Hall in NYC last year...

  • The swedish versio is much better! This does not make me cry. What has happened with this?

  • Really nice!

  • I am speechless. What a singer. This song is so so difficult. And I´m happy for the english version. Both composition, lyrics and performance are a class of its on. André

  • Not as powerfull as the swedish version

  • This woman never fails to give me goose-bumps.

  • she sings the english version as good as she sings the original swedish one..

  • too much "dramatic" to be real....

  • @narvikekero Haha, are you kidding me?

  • @narvikekeroThe song is from a swedish musical named Kristina från duvemåla or just Kristina. Its about swedish emigrants in usa around 1860. Kristina is a christian and have never question if god really exist. When she sings this song, she had just had a miscarriage and found out that she can never be pregnant again or she will die. Her life falls apart and she start to wonder if god really exist, d but as you can hear she hopes he is there. Its a sad song when you now and can feel her sadness

  • @geggamaja This is cl_swe BTW. forgot to log out from my boyfriends account.. :/

  • Don't like the English lyrics. It is like someone have tried to show of their language skills and just ended up with this very pretentious version. The Swedish lyrics was simple and dramatic, and believable as the character is not a well educated person. Helen is as always brilliant though.

  • Never heard the English version until now. But I like the Swedish version better.

  • She is five stars all the way to heaven!!!!

  • More powerfull on swedish

  • The swedish version is sooo much better!....just saying ;P

  • @xXSleazyXx I agree

  • This musical should be on Broadway. It has the best music of any musical in the past 50 years. The two concert performances at Carnegie Hall (English prmiere) were a big success. But are audiences accustomed to the Disneyfication of Broadway capable of appreciating music as great as this. It is by far the best thing Benny and Bjorn have ever done. It leaves ABBA in the dust.

  • The sound is too low. Other videos here of this performance have better sound.

  • Ingen power i den engelska versionen även fast det är samma sångare. Mkt starkare i den svenska versionen.

  • THESE are the kind of songs that are supposed to be in songcontests! >:| Why do we always end up with shit if there is things like THIS!?!? I AM UPSET!!!!!!!!!!

  • She has such a beautiful voice! And this song is so touching.

  • Like a nordic Saga this song by ABBA Benny is delivered by at nordic voice wourty of Birgit Nilsson and Jussi Björling.

  • The swedish version is better, but Helen can never fail! She is great as always. <3

  • Prefer this in Sweedish, but holy shit...what a woman, what a voice and what a song! I can't stress how amazing this is!

  • nononono!! Watch the swedish version! This doesn't do it justice!

  • Nothing compared to the swedish version, but Helen is still fantastic.

  • nice, but the swedish version has more emotions and power. <3 Helen

  • Great song, great lyrics and a great voice! :))

Check out the wonderful movie "Så som i himmelen" (As it is in heaven) if you would like to see more of here!

  • Jesus Christ, I have heart this lots of times in Swedish (live, too...I am from Sweden), but this made me shiver and I got tears in my eyes! Helen has the voice of an angel, she's magic!

  • this is the most beautiful song on earth

  • @boyslikegirlsthunder

    amen to that.

  • Love it but love the swedish version better! :D

  • much better in swedish...but her voice is just as good.

  • I LOVE this song.. and Helena realy bring it to life

  • this is such an amazing performance, but helen always gives amazing performances in english and swedish. written by the masters...benny and bjorn. thank you soooo very much from the u.k for this video.

  • Foregin shaw? ska det inte vara Foregin shore?

  • @Petersunnergren

No, it should be "foreign shore"

  • Wow, She is so good!!!! Amazing!!!

  • This is fantastic musik, and a great voice, breathtaking!

  • what event was this ?? where ??

  • @grlewycky In Berwaldhallen, around January (?) for Trettondagskonserten in 2010.

  • She first sang this song in 1995 so yes it does happen that you age in 15 years. We all do you know.. It would be strange if she stilled looked like 25 when she has just turned 40.

  • she has a beautiful voice.

  • Event though I finally understand what she is singing about I have to say I prefer the swedish version... totally gives me the goosebumps...

How long ago is "Så som i himmelen"? She looks sooooo much older now at least 15 years or something, I am not kidding... I know its not but she changes alot. Everyone grows older I know...

Still over though she is awesome!

  • @ProGayJulia: Yeah, I think she really aged in the last 6 years or so. Maybe it's because she had a baby AND age is catching up with her... I really don't mean any offense, Helen, but you do look a little older than your age.

  • @Felicity1247 if that aint an offense, i do not know what is?

  • @stjarthalbajs Not an offense! Don't get me wrong. I love, love, love Helen from Chess and from Kristina. I'd give an arm to go see her in concert any day. I just happen to think she's growing a bit older now.

  • Comment removed

  • @ProGayJulia She has a make-up to look older, like Kristina.

  • @denkan88 Really? For her I most certainly hope so...

She isn't ugly or anything... aging is natural, I guess I just wasn't expecting to see her this old.

  • @denkan88 thank God! thought she had some illness because she looks so youthful and always nice otherwise:)

  • Kerry Ellis...paah, a bleek copy!

  • This kind of song can be sang ONLY by somebody like Helen. I have a goose skin, when she sings... You really feel her doubts, you really feel desperation of believing, of having someone to hold on, after... Nobody can be compare with emotional way of singing we can hear when she sings...

  • I don't knwo it's because I heard it first, but I really prefer Kerry Ellis' version of this song.

  • @LetHimFeelNoPain Perhaps you should check out the Swedish performance of Helen (with subtitles), the best ever. Its the first one on the recommended list.

  • @LetHimFeelNoPain check out Helens original Swedish performance, makes the hairs on your neck stand up. She is and always will be 'Kristina'
