Manga Ending: Takuto was never really supposed to be a Shinagami. [His past] After he got his throat surgery he jumped off a building but he only went into a coma, which he woke up from 3 years later and returned to being a human. In the end, Meroko became an angel and got together with Izumi (who is really a decent guy in the book) and Takuto met up with Mitsuki (who had continued on as a singer for the next 3 years) and at her concert they meet up and kiss right in the middle of everything <3

this is a great anime, luved the ending too.

here's just my random thought though it kinda sounds sad and strange but: now that takuto is human, he and mitsuki can live their lives to the fullest w/ no regrets, die and go to heaven where they meet everyone and meroko too.

I was wondering the whole series how they'd end it - and I think they picked the happiest ending possible, without it being overly cheesy. There is some weird small part of me that kind of wishes she'd died though.. I think I just like crying too much. Overall I'm really glad I watched this!
