  • Thats a CRAPSMAN mower CRAFTSMAN hasn't made a decent product in 30 years.

There hand tools are nice though but thats it.

  • all the intake and vangard engines are made by mitsubishi for briggs but seems the one failed due to no oil that will kill all engines old and new

  • @SMASHITFORTHELULZ its not an intek, its a quantum. I'd stay away from the inteks though, they're garbage

  • nice to see you

  • @warezvz thanks! nice to be back and finally have some extra money to spend on finishing my projects

  • @motox458 why do you collect mowers?

  • @warezvz I don't really collect them, they just seem to show up lol. The only things I really bother keeping are the old tractors

  • @motox458 yeah sure they come to you and sey "please mister can i be your tool" and you clean them and sleap with the mower in the bed.

Ha ha ha but bevare to not tuch the wrong button you could easily be castrated if you do something wrong XD

  • OOOOO!!!!

it could be that a valve is just out of adjustment. I wouldnt run it anymore until you got a better look at it..

  • That sounds great ! lol jk it sounds like shit.....Where did the Briggs&Stratton quality go ?

  • @1972FordF150 it seems like any small engine company nowadays has good and bad lineups, I stay away from the briggs intek series, they're junk, but the I/C engines are pretty decent

  • @motox458 Yeah, 30 years ago pretty much everything was good. And I've got a 2001 6.5 HP OHV Briggs intek LOL. It runs great ! I got it for free too.

  • @1972FordF150 i agree older briggs r better

  • I have basically the same mower, same engine. It rarely starts in more than one pull. Of course, I do take care of my stuff.

  • @gajda1984 just about anything will remain reliable if you maintain it properly, but nothing built nowadays can withstand the abuse that the old ones were built for

  • @motox458 Yeah, you're right. Shit is just not built as well as it used to be.

  • Wow that sounds terrible. Too bad that guy destroyed it.

  • @IHcubcadet yup, and its completely gutless, no power left in it, oh well, it was free and still has some usable parts

  • damn and i thought the 10 year old mower i use at a relatives thats never had an oil change knocked badly! holy crap! what year is it btw?

  • @1944johndeerel I believe its an '05, not old at all, just not taken care of, oh well

  • @motox458 well the mower i use was never taken care of. i feel its too late to even bother changing the oil in the mower because it hasnt been changed since new. id be afraid it would leak all over and start burning oil like crazy. its probably got about an inch of sludge in the crankcase lol

  • if you have a Briggs quantum lying around you could swap the plastics from this engine on to the quantum and ditch the engine thats on the mower now

  • @GarrettJDB I may do that, but I think I'll blow this one up first for fun lol

  • blow it up thats what i did LOL with a briggs engine that is but didnt really kill it because it just had no more compression

  • @30GB thats probably what I'll do, not worth rebuilding, thats for sure
