Sorry Jim, apologies, blame red wine!! You are a wonderful guitarist, something I aspired to be but started too late in life to be anything other than a strummer!! Great location, is it abroad?
@quicktothe4 A noble apology worthy of a true blues harp man - I was only joking anyway, we're all just fumbling around trying to sound good. Ken and I were gigging around the Bergerac area for a year or so, and I think he's started another band over in UK 'The Legendary Night Owls'. I think the average age is 94, so should do well. I'm still dragging my sorry ass around the streets of Toulouse twanging the blues.
Hello Ken we met many years ago in the White Horse at Misson, 1993, you encouraged me to keep practicing the harp and I came to watch the band several times, started jamming in 1994 and have played all over the world with some great musicians, a harp player is much rarer and more valued than a guitarist!!. Started playing with The Old Buzzard Blues Band, my first ever proper position as a harp player and our first proper gig is next month in Berwick upon Tweed. "Feel So Good"
@quicktothe4 "much rarer and more valued than a guitarist" - ouch, that hurt! Not sure if Ken checks this channel or not, as he lives back in UK and we haven't spoken for a while.
I guess 3 people don't get that it's an older tune than the Allman Brothers version. I love your guy's version. it's a great old tune, and you guys brought back that old time sound. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the share. Peace...
Ive been watchin Brian Setzer the singer from stray cats and between him and you sir you've given me the inspiration to pick up the guitar again, im sittin in awe, you pick that guitar so effortlessly.... very best wishess to you both....
@daveybuc1 I'm really, really pleased that you're going to pick up the guitar again and happy that I had a part to play in motivating you to do it. Cheers,

Brilliant! The guitarist looks familiar...have I seen him busking in France, as strange as that might sound?
