They have absolutly nothing to do with your field, but still they are good questions to think about if they ever come up. I hope you have much luck finding a job, Andy! :D
"Do you have any friends or relatives that I could contact if I needed a background check?"
There are many more, but, that's some of the usual ones. I think my Mom had those questions for her job interview to work an outage at Arkansas Nuclear One.
"When you get stuck, do you prefer to work things out for yourself, or to ask for help? And when/if you ask for help, how stuck do you usually let yourself get before asking?"
I tried to play a little safe and said that I like to give it a good go, but if I get really stuck and find myself floundering, I'll ask for help. I didn't get the job, and I've no idea what the best answer was (if there is one)!
I'm new to your subscriptions, and I have some questions that might work. I'm also in the first year of my computer science degree.
1) How much coding experience do you have? (Big one!)
2) How much potential would you say you have on the job site?
3) Are you comfortable with the language C++, C#, and java?
Just three generic questions that I thought of off the top of my head. I hope they help you! Most likely, the first one will be asked because most companies look for experienced workers.
Andy! Yur so handsome. Good luck entering the job force.
I also have had some job trouble. My original firm laid me off for lack of projects. But I got a new job now, also downtown Seattle. Also, I gave up the roommates and moved into my own place closer to downtowm.
The question that stuck with me the most while interviewing for a web development job:
"Imagine a scenario where I offer you $35,000 a year. Explain to me how you would make my investment of $35,000 in you pay off."
That was a doozer! Much luck.

What are you looking for in an IT position? What are your expectations?
Do you work well under pressure or under a deadline? Are you self-motivated?
What kind of hours do you expect to work?
Additionally, are you looking for an application development, programming, computer administrator, network engineer, etc?

Here's a good one I got when I interviewed at Starbucks:
Tell me about a time when you received exceptional customer service. What impressed you about this?

Well i always liked the questions:
1 - What do you consider your qualities?
2 - What do you consider your flaws?
3 - How good are you with people and teamwork?
4 - Where do you see yourseld in 5 years?
They have absolutly nothing to do with your field, but still they are good questions to think about if they ever come up. I hope you have much luck finding a job, Andy! :D

Here you go:
"Do you have a criminal record?"
"Have you had any jobs prior to this?"
"Do you have any friends or relatives that I could contact if I needed a background check?"
There are many more, but, that's some of the usual ones. I think my Mom had those questions for her job interview to work an outage at Arkansas Nuclear One.

Mine is (and was asked to me at an interview):
"When you get stuck, do you prefer to work things out for yourself, or to ask for help? And when/if you ask for help, how stuck do you usually let yourself get before asking?"

Good luck job hunting!
