I travelled and lived all around the world, but I've never seen such evil, ugly, false, asocial and sulky people like here in München. I really loathe this town and really hate their residents.
People staring at you in the U-Bahn or on the road with such an ugly angry face with no reason; waiters and waitresses so rude (like peasants) and Impolite: all different from Dutch (I am half Dutch) and Scandinavians who are instead really friendly.
Bavaria: the place where nazism and illuminate started!
@occhiodaquila69 well you know that this was about 70 years ago. it's pathetic to say that everybody there is unfriendly. and better do some research before you comment on something. i have travelled to so many countries and i always go back to munich because the people are freaking awesome there. it's a beautiful city. i hope at some day you will stop being a jerk who says nasty stuff and refers it to so many people.
@occhiodaquila69 if you arrive with a totally negative mindset like that only expecting to see nazis of course no one will look at you friendly. sorry but whatever stories you grew up with about germans being half dutch...you know that's 70 years ago. people and places change. and just for the facts, today munich is the city with the most foreigners in germany. 28% of the population are not german and stay cause it is an awesome place to live.
SandyDSF .. wow .. what a small world. I was born in Dinkelsbuehl (a little north of Munich) and came to live in America in 1975 after my parents divorced. I grew up in and around the Union, St. Louis, DeSoto Missouri area and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1979 ... I am trying like crazy to get back to Germany with my wife (and maybe a kid or two) ... Bis Bald ... Tschuess ...

@SandyDSF "I am an american from a small town in Missouri"
Did you speak german in your town growing up? I ask because I've been in several antique malls and used book stores in Missouri. Most books are in english, especially the newer ones, but when I come across older, and by older I mean 60+ years or older, there are an unexpectadlu large number of books in german. Almost every old book in a foreign language is in german.
@vaghistory ... Gruess Gott aus Muenchen, die Hauptstadt von Freistaat Bayern.
My mother is from Vienna, Austria. She legally immigrated to the USA after WWII.
my mother did not speak german with me as a child because she was shame by Nazi created WWII and she thought is was more important for her 5 children to speak english. I cam with the US Army as a G.I. to Munich in 1968. I picked up Germany very, very easily...and became fluent within one year. Now I speak german better than most here.
You should`ve respected your Mother`s wishes and also rejected this terrible culture that killed so many and surely will again one day if the get the chance.
