Thank-you a million times over !!! My son is 3 and a half and shows every sign that's in video.

I am STILL waiting for actual diagnosis even though every test so far indicates this condition !!! It seems that no-one actually wants to be the one to "professionally" BRAND him but I just want to know so I can start dealing with condition appropriately

I felt my son was on the spectrum too and I treated and helped him "as if". Three specialists said no. Finally, just before he turned 13, at a day long intensive psycho-educational assessment with , she saw what I saw. She asked the Dr. to give my son a speech consult as well; with that they finally said that his speech concerns could not be attributed to any other of his diagnoses. - Believe and do what you feel is right no matter what the apparent diagnosis.

@margeplan13 ps: so now we have that acknowledgement we can get more funding for therapies he needs. It's not about branding it's about getting the right supports. Would we do the same for, cancer, for example? Of course not! If Mom feels it, Mom is probably right :) - so act "as if" and if those things help, that is all that matters. Good luck, you are not alone!
