New Theory 1/2: The electrician was informed that the house would be vacant that day. He was probably hired by Courtney or most likely some sort of personal assistant. Kurt was not expected to be in the house that day. This is why his friends were looking for him but never checked the house. When the electrician arrived, he heard noises and became suspicious of a possible intruder. He grabbed the shotgun for protection then proceeded to inspect the area from which he heard noises.

Not expecting to see a man of Kurt's appearance in an affluent house and neighborhood, the electrician assumed he was an intruder. Kurt probably tried to tell him otherwise, or possibly Kurt thought the electrician was an intruder. (Maybe Kurt had the gun initially?) They had a confrontation, which ended in the electrician shooting and killing Kurt.

The LD-50 for heroin is quite variable depending upon several factors. most notably the enzyme in the liver responsible for breaking down opiates. some people lack this enzyme and it is metabolized improperly and therefore more lethal. the LD-50 would measure this group for its base statistics because half the population lacks this enzyme. for these people, 20mg (a standard dose for beginners) could be fatal. this is absolutely beating a dead horse.

elite you are right I too have personal experience with heroin I was on it for a year and a half I would do 100 units of dark think dope and barley catch a nod it is possible for some one to shoot themselves after doing that amount of heroin
My cousin killed himself and left a note with a list of groceries that he forgot to pick up for his mother. It's actually quite unusual to leave extensive and dramatic notes. The ones that do are often older and have been thinking and planning their suicide down to the last detail for months and sometimes yrs (frequently as a result of long term illness). Also, the note read to the public was only one of two, the second one being more detailed and personal for Courtney and Frances.

The nature of heroin/morphine tolerance dictates that there is and can be no concrete "lethal dose." This is fact. The people who created and are propagating the misinformation that he couldn't pick up a gun because he had "3x the lethal amount of heroin in his system" are the people making money from book sales and interviews like the one in this video.
I'll put this as simply as possible: the amount of heroin in Kurt's body ("3x the lethal dose") would easily be enough to kill a NON-tolerant person, i.e. a person who isn't physically addicted to heroin. BUT, Kurt was a heroin ADDICT with lots of money and presumably (obviously) a very high tolerance to heroin/morphine. It's commonplace for hardcore heroin addicts to inject doses many times that of a dose which would kill a non-addict.

@hydrocodone1 Aye, hydrocodone1. I also know this from personal experience. 50mg IV is generally accepted as heroin's LD50 for a non-tolerant user. I have personally injected hundreds of milligrams of heroin in a single dose (of course I had a high tolerance), nodded out, then injected another several hundred milligrams a hours later. I was only heavily addicted to heroin for around a year, Kurt was addicted for years.

New Theory 1/2: The electrician was informed that the house would be vacant that day. He was probably hired by Courtney or most likely some sort of personal assistant. Kurt was not expected to be in the house that day. This is why his friends were looking for him but never checked the house. When the electrician arrived, he heard noises and became suspicious of a possible intruder. He grabbed the shotgun for protection then proceeded to inspect the area from which he heard noises.

Not expecting to see a man of Kurt's appearance in an affluent house and neighborhood, the electrician assumed he was an intruder. Kurt probably tried to tell him otherwise, or possibly Kurt thought the electrician was an intruder. (Maybe Kurt had the gun initially?) They had a confrontation, which ended in the electrician shooting and killing Kurt.

Ok, i have ALL of Kurt's biographies, ive seen ALL the interviews and it WAS a SUICIDE. as much as it kills me to say it because I love Kurt just as much as the next guy. Courtney wasnt even with when he died. Dont quote me on this part but i believe she was in Rome? Kurt escaped a rehab place and went back to his home in the US and thats when it happened. An alcoholic who drinks everyday for years....his alcohol content just to get drunk would be up to lethal limits. At that point he would stilll be functioning, but his handwriting would change throughout writing a letter as he drank during writing that letter. Obviously the same applies to HERION....cmon people this is common sense. Nobody was in the room when this note was written. He probably wrote it in pieces, his high hitting at certain parts of writing it.

Thats a lie. THERE WERE 6 FINGERPRINTS LIFTED. When experts analysed them they couldn't determine if they were Kurts. Police said its frequent in suicide cases because the victim gets nervous and therefore secrete excessive sweat, which makes the prints not legible.

Ok, the guy was a pure drug addict. And coming from experience, when you are in the depths of addiction, one can think there is no way out of it. When you are an addict, anything can happen.
It is plain to see that it was infact a suicide. On the day or day before he died, Cobain jumped the fence at rehab and went home. Everyone thought he was at rehab. He was clearly depressed and addicted to drugs, which is a fatal cocktail. Case in point, it was NOT murder, it was suicide!.

One more thing what might have caused the fingerprints to b smudged is that his hands mught have been sweaty because of nervousness and scondly, fingerprints were taken in May, and thus might have been smudgd du to handling. Also, it takes a coupl of MINUTES to hours for the death to occur (source: wikipedia-heroin), which means that despite the high dosage, Kurt had enough time to kill himslf. It takes from 7-8 seconds for the heroin rush to occur when

@mickeyjames13 actually, in a interview a month or 2 before his death stated that he wasn't suicidal. he was actually very happy at that point. some believe he was murdered like me. the reason why is that after what happened with his "accidental overdose in rome" he was interviewed and was weeping and sad about the relationship between him and courtney love was falling apart.

Do your homework.Kurt was never interviewed after the Rome overdose,so all that weeping because "his marriage was falling apart" never happened. The interview took place in August 93, not March '94. He was almost crying because he thought Courtney and him were treated like cartoon characters, and in that interview he said he'd leave Nirvana and join Hole. the user below me is completely wrong. The LD-50 for heroin is quite variable depending upon several factors. most notably the enzyme in the liver responsible for breaking down opiates. some people lack this enzyme and it is metabolized improperly and therefore more lethal. the LD-50 would measure this group for its base statistics because half the population lacks this enzyme. for these people, 20mg (a standard dose for beginners) could be fatal. this is absolutely beating a dead horse.

Kurt took his own life. Jesus Christ give it up. To believe the conspiracy you would have to first believe that Courtney was smart enough to concoct this plan AND get away with it. Are you conspiracy nuts ready to give Courtney that much credit. Have any of you known somebody who took their own life? I have, and we all thought "wow he's got everything on track in his life now" turns out in fact that no he didn't. With all that said you can believe what you want, no matter how crazy it is.

@reevo53: Courtney was assisted by the uncaring Seattle pd. They decided it was suicide without looking at a lot of the evidence. Kurt had too much heroin in his system to lift the gun, not to mention roll down his shirt sleeve, button it, and put his needle away. Kurt was murdered!

elite you are right I too have personal experience with heroin I was on it for a year and a half I would do 100 units of dark think dope and barley catch a nod it is possible for some one to shoot themselves after doing that amount of heroin

My cousin killed himself and left a note with a list of groceries that he forgot to pick up for his mother. It's actually quite unusual to leave extensive and dramatic notes. The ones that do are often older and have been thinking and planning their suicide down to the last detail for months and sometimes yrs (frequently as a result of long term illness). Also, the note read to the public was only one of two, the second one being more detailed and personal for Courtney and Frances.

They're cashing in on the fan's morbid desire to know the explicit details of Kurt's death, as well as taking advantage of some fans' belief/hope that Kurt didn't actually kill himself. The nature of heroin/morphine tolerance dictates that there is and can be no concrete "lethal dose." This is fact. The people who created and are propagating the misinformation that he couldn't pick up a gun because he had "3x the lethal amount of heroin in his system" are the people making money from book sales and interviews like the one in this video.

I'll put this as simply as possible: the amount of heroin in Kurt's body ("3x the lethal dose") would easily be enough to kill a NON-tolerant person, i.e. a person who isn't physically addicted to heroin. BUT, Kurt was a heroin ADDICT with lots of money and presumably (obviously) a very high tolerance to heroin/morphine. It's commonplace for hardcore heroin addicts to inject doses many times that of a dose which would kill a non-addict.

@hydrocodone1 Aye, hydrocodone1. I also know this from personal experience. 50mg IV is generally accepted as heroin's LD50 for a non-tolerant user. I have personally injected hundreds of milligrams of heroin in a single dose (of course I had a high tolerance), nodded out, then injected another several hundred milligrams a hours later. I was only heavily addicted to heroin for around a year, Kurt was addicted for years.

They never bother to check the credibility of the author, poster, claimant, etc. Case in point is the books that promote the "murder theory". Ian Halpern is a notoriously unreliable author who is known for creating fodder about celebrities (often dead one) to sell his books. He relies on 2nd and 3rd hand sources for his info and never consults family members or close friends.

@elitet0kr - You are 100% correct. My brother had been addicted to heroin for 30 YEARS & only managed to quit 2 years ago. He held down high pressure jobs which, lucky for him paid well. It was, at times very hard to tell if he was 'stoned' -even when he needed up tp 7 shots a day to function as well as anyone not addicted. People who have not had to deal with this are so ignorant on this matter, and only regurgitate the rubbish & half truths they've been fed.

@elitet0kr: There was evidence Kurt had cut down on drug use in '94. When he entered the hospital in Rome his blood test showed no morphine. Kurt could not possibly have built up the kind of tolerance you're talking about, even if the body could function with a 3 times lethal dose of heroin.

@judyleasugar97 When Kurt was in Rome and overdosed on Rohypnol, he probably took so much because he was in withdrawal and was desperate to feel better. This can explain the lack of morphine in his system. He returned to Seattle shortly after and relapsed, went into rehab, left rehab, then killed himself. The dose that these stooges are calling "3x the lethal limit" is actually not that big of a dose for a heroin addict, especially one with a substantial habit who is very rich.

how do i know? because i am a former heroin addict and have experienced it myself.
there is NO such thing as a concrete "lethal dose" for heroin. THAT is medical fact. the LD50 of heroin is only applicable to people with no tolerance to opioids. addicts regularly inject doses that are many times heroin's known LD50.

I would suggest googling "Dead Men don't pull Triggers" by Roger Lewis, a chemist who drew from no less than 99 articles by well respected toxicologists on this very subject. His conclusion? No way could Kurt have pulled the trigger.

people have injected 3x, 5x, even 10x the "3x lethal dose" (225mg) that cobain injected and lived to do it again after a few hours.
