  • Amasing!!

  • man, those are some sickass headphones...

  • @RetroShinigami Don't forget about applications from great software companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Skype LLC for example.

  • i think nokia needs to come up with something like siri on iphone4s,that'd be trending...

  • @terence4dawin While siri can be useful, at the end of the day, its nothing most phones cant already do. Its cool and all that you can talk to it and it will talk back in somewhat of a natural manner, but still more of a novelty than a ultra useful feature.

  • @terence4dawin I take Nokiamaps, 3D turn-by-turn, etc ...over SIRI hands down!

  • @RetroShinigami I know. Because of the GPL. But they can't use commercial features, it means no official applications, just 3rd-party.

  • Nokia rules my heart & soul

  • So...it is more a device for music?

  • Wow, HTC and Samsung don't have such great music apps on their WP7 phones. Nokia is amazing!

  • @RetroShinigami FYI, Windows Phone is completely different from the Windows OS you use in your PC. It doesn't give "blue screen" like you said. And MeeGo/Symbian are systems that will be unsupported soon. N9 will have the same destiny of N900. It is a great phone, indeed, but without any support.

  • @mruppel2 It has support but not so much as these WP7 phones.

  • @mruppel2 Actually, Nokia has promised support for the N9 and symbian products for a long time. Symbian devices will get support till 2016. The N9 also has at least a few years of support. It's just that the 3rd party developers aren't going to make much apps for the N9. And that's their choice.

  • @mruppel2 Yes, but apps make the whole difference nowadays. Also, they tried to put a lot of applications on N9, and to make the UI look like Symbian Belle UI.

Windows Phone 7 has a completely different concept of UI, and multitasking on it is as smooth as N9 promise to be.

So, between N9 and the latest Nokia Lumia devices, I'd choose Lumia. But N9 is a great device, like I said. It's good that Nokia is offering alternative options, unlike Samsung is doing with their Android-based devices.

  • thsi monster speakers look nice :)

  • I hope Nokia doesn't raise the prices because of the WP7. Nokia is known worldwide by offering excellent smartphones for reasonable prices, if they stay true to this with the new WP7 devices, they'll easily beat the pricy HTC and Samsung WP7 devices!
