@okydokyblackops if you shoot a animal it dies if you catch a fish and release it the fish still lives!! That's the difference you thick retarded TWAT !!
@graveforest666 actually, if you fish, it's the same thing as hunting, if your going to fish, EAT the fish, why release would you like being hooked and released with a big ass hole in you mouth?
i don't know you tell me.. same as hunting.. if you shoot and animal dont leave the meat.. eat everything.. so dont be ignorant..
most of them thrown in the buckets alive, still desperately trying to survive? if you're not able to treat the fish right, then the fish belongs back in the river and you belong in the bucket.
Oh christ, get over yourself. It pisses me off so much when people think that they are god because they catch and release. I do it too, but I don't get all egotistical about it or ask random people on the internet to do what I want.
sucker fish are good eating. People don't really like eating them/keeping them because they are a boney fish, meaning every piece of fish meat you dig in literally have 1 or two tiny bones in them.
we used to salt and dry i liked them but some people say the best way to clean them is to cut them in half and throw both ends away they were the first fish of the year and yellow pearch its that or nothin
we were using yarn on a treble hook, with a couple of split shots. i think i lost as many as a landed, tough to keep those suckers on! no pun intended.
JK it's a fine movie. It is just that it shows me how accepting people can be of environmental devastation, when they have nothing to compare it with. It is like the people who make "isn't nature wonderful" videos in a second growth forest; having not seen miles and miles of real old growth timber, like in Alaska, they are happy with things as they are, and no thought of how much better they could be.
well it's sunday sorry for he sermon have a nice time fishing.
I used to be a beliver of your statement, but up here in michigan people seem to think otherwise. Some say they taste great and the only reason why they wont eat them is because of the bones. Going out today and if I catch one imma have to keep him.
I catch them because they make awesome cut bait for catfish and crawdads. The skin is so tough it stays on the hook a long time, and it's really oily so it puts out a ton of scent in the water.
i take my Family Sucker fishing every year on spring break. we go up to Kewaunee, WI. we use a one-man dip net and always get a few coolers full

My uncle found a fish head on the Cass river up in Frankenmuth it was so big that it had to have come off at least a 30" Sucker!
We've been trying to catch some Suckers but no luck yet. We'd probably throw them back unless we caught a huge one 25" or more.
