  • OH! My dad was riding NJT Home and the engineer jamed the emergency brakes on the express Track in elizabeth(NEC) AND AMBULANCES CAME! HE HAD TO GET OF AND GET ANOTHER TRAIN!

  • when did this happen?

  • idr

  • The 4-car Silverliner IV train that shows up around 0:32 is 369, running on emergency power (no lights or a/c. The 3-car Silverliner IV train shown just after it is 371, the same trainset shown earlier in the video as 370. Also, the first two trains, 370 and the Silverliner II/III, are on the "wrong" track, probably because 368 was already disabled coming out. I remember that 370 came into West Trenton on the wrong track.

  • thanks for the info.when i was tittled the videos,i looked at the schedule because i thought it would be a normal day!

  • I'm pretty sure you have the trains identified correctly despite the lateness of train 369.

  • I was wrong about the first two trains being on the "wrong" track. I wasn't sure at first, but after watching more closely, I realize that this is at a point where there are three tracks. The track closest to the camera is only used by freight trains. The first two and the last trains are on the middle track, which is the normal track for the trains bound for West Trenton. And it was on 9/13, the day before, when 370 came into West Trenton on the "wrong" track.

  • well the thing is,normally when a septa goin outbound is on the wrong track,a frieght is coming.but normally at this time on friday there arent many frieghts

  • Train 370, the first one seen on this video, turns around at West Trenton to be train 371 (5:18 p.m.). The 370/371 3-car trainset on normal days runs back and forth on the R3 line all day starting at Elwyn as 328 at 6:10 a.m. I happened to ride 328 on 9/14, and for some reason, I remembered that car 177 was the east-pointing car that day. And sure enough, it shows up leading 370 in this video.

  • I was on train 369 on 9/14/07! Let me tell you what happened. I was supposed to be on 371. 369 left West Trenton almost 30 minutes late, after I had already gotten there. Big mistake! Lights and a/c weren't working. When I got to my destination station only 2 mins. before 371 was due to get there, I could see 371 up the line waiting to get in. Normally 369 and 371 are about 30 mins. apart, but they were probably 3-5 mins. apart on 9/14.

  • Arrow III's rock. I hope those things never retire.

  • yes they really rule over silverliner ivs because of doors in the middle and better horns.sorry septa.

  • Well, Arrow threes are getting VERY Old and They Have door problems, but the horns are smoother than the silverliners

  • Silverliner IVs remind me of NJT Arrow Threes

  • They are awfully simillar but i m sure the arrow's horns are better.

  • What are those cars that are uglier than the silverliner IVs

  • the first 2 cars are silverliner IIIs while the 2nd to last is a silverliner II.
