I enjoyed Spore, unfortunatley EA's choice in an Anti-Pirating system (that was complete shit, and didn't do anything because Spore wound up being the most pirated game the year it was released) and EA's lack of interest in the community wound up being Spore's quick and sad downfall.

tehe ^^ as a schizophrenic I would make a game called 'Synapse' or something like that. It would be reminiscent of silent hill, but instead of an evil town it would be more like the player was cursed O.o It would start off like The Sims. Make your character, play your character. But then there would be slight changes in how things were displayed and your volume and sound would fuck up at random, on purpose, until you were completely insane and living in a world that only existed in your brain =D

@SuperDJBling It's not a super terrible game, but everyone got really disappointed because it could have been so much more if EA hadn't cut the PG13-balls off of Will Wright and ended up making the game ridiculously family-friendly.

@Mynameisnotooo Pretty much sums up my opinion of the game. The game demo's Will was pimping out years before the game came out were amazing. As a result of this debacle, I swore those bastards at EA would never see another nickle of my hard-earned cash. A shame Will can't somehow buy back the rights to the game and release his original vision.

@darkblood626 I was pissed off about that as well, considering that creature stage was the only good part of the game, and that got boring after an hour, getting rid of the underwater stage in the demo really annoyed me, and then changing the animal behaviour that was shown in the demo to 'nests' of only 5 creatures was really retarded

Sweet Jesus the one-sidedness IS just awful. Given that being a carnivore is naturally easier, you just somehow encompass it, which of course sets your entire species to be a carnivore. Problem is I wanted to be a peaceful species where everyone just thought "You carnivorous dick!" and attacked me like I was the school bully, despite doing my best to do NOTHING to them. Eventually I said "fuck it" and embodied the monster they made me out to be. I hope they were happy with themselves!
