  • T.V. Tommy Ivo is one of the REAL legends of drag racing. This guy is one of a handful of drivers (along with Garlits, Kalitta, Karamesines, Prudhomme, McKwen and a few others), historically significant in NHRA drag racing, who are still walking on the face of this earth. In point of fact, T.V. Tommy was in the lane opposite John "Zoo Keeper" Mulligan, 1st round of top fuel at the '69 Indy Nationals, on Mulligan's last ride in the Fighting Irish car.

  • Yeah, that's Tommy. Saw him race in the sixties and had a chance to meet him on a tv talk show in the 80s. Really a nice person.
