Yeah, I remember thew night it got raided. I remember there being rolls of money on the floor...........cant remember how many cops came in cos I was cross-eyed at the time.........I doubt there will be another club like it ever.......!!!!!!!

by the sounds of it i was in the monkey long before u lot....and at the same time...i was there wen u needed a shirt and tie to get in...and wen it was a rave...i might even have adrian street tapes knockin about...and me m8 videod the place on fire. i was drivin the car and he was on the camcorder .they were the days...as for the fatal stabbing i was there as always. wot a shame it spoiled the rep of the place eh ppl....! still.happy days.fri and sat night without fail for 4 whole years.luv it.

Thia was the top rave club in the North East, people used to come from allover the north and Scotland here, it went downhill cos of all the trouble, not from the ravers but the drug dealers as there was a drug related stabbing (fatal) in 1992.
