  • По кайфУ!

  • power

  • Good.

  • its really not as good as people making it to be. im a decent drummer and im better then then.

  • @TheRSEP so lets see some stuff....

  • O shit, madness!

  • fa cagare

  • No easy instruments just people who feel easy for every of it..

  • yeaaaah no cheating on the hi hat!

  • You are my hero

  • nice tempo

  • Man, I can already see your second video when looking for a rhythm for jam. Put dick on those who do not like. It may not be full of music, but a good bit. Play what you want to express themselves. Who is like, someone is not very good, but it was there and always will be. Good luck, man page.

PS Forgive me for my "broken" English ...)

  • play with more energy!

  • there are some complex punk beats. may want to give them a shot. this is basicly the first thing anybody is taught. i am self taught but seriously.

  • i used to play like this, on my first month of drumming no offence ._.

  • Comment removed

  • Long live thrash

  • reminds me of Driller Killer and Anti Cimex

  • this would sound badass if it weren't on such a shitty kit! Dude can thrash it!

  • Poor drum set. this not Music..

  • Thrash + Hardcore Punk = Crossover!

  • @SuperNiko55 you wouldnt crossover with that. Like Exploited you would just call it hardcore punk

  • Comment removed

  • i like the way you hit the hi hat beginning 00:36...you hit the hi hat more than the snare drum.. now that's hardcore :D

  • Yeah man that's great. Nailing it all the damn way. I give you a firm "classic" on this fandango "your reaction" thing. ; - )

  • nice cocaine

  • im 13y old and can play better Drums....u just hit ur TomToms and Snare's like an idiot...

  • I'm 14 and im playing bits of slayer now go troll somewhere else... That may not require skill.. which it really does dick but it isn't bout the talent, just the sound...

  • @Darkplay i agree :)

  • sssiiiccckk

  • tune your set man, even a ghetto set can still sound good

  • This is nice for in a circus xD

  • well done!!!

  • awasome!!!!!

  • now thats punk, raw, fast and full of energy!

  • DAMN SON. That's NASTY. You are very, very talented.

  • thats real shit right there i wish i could find a drummer with that kind of playing

  • @TheBigglenn311 thanks dude. I got a lot better recently too

  • @zigg3ns yeah I really like this. I mean it sounds repetitive but what people dont get is that with a guitar riff it will sound fucking bomb. I played along with it and it came out fucking badass I like the part where you really pick up the speed and thats the shit that has been lost in this new generation of players. They all think that by doing blast beats That they are increasing the tempo or BPM but in reality they are keeping it the same. keep it up bro and I wouldnt mind a remake of this

  • @TheBigglenn311 Thanks so much man! You get it! Yeah a lot of people say I "loose time" but im purposoly changing the BPM. Changing the drum feel may sound faster but its the BPM that counts. =]

  • @zigg3ns you will become amazing if you continue to use on bass pedal while playing metal and when you get to where it is humanly impossible to just use one foot then add a second bass. single bass is becoming a lost art and will unlock soo many doors like hi hat variations. keep it up

  • @TheBigglenn311

i laughed out loud at this.

  • @CrusaderBand 100 percent agree with you. I can play many instruments and I still find drums the most fun to play, but the most difficult to work with. Learning all the shit you really have to know is no fucking walk in the park as many people think it is.

  • I would say that drums are not an easy instrument, but a very diferent one from guitar, piano, bass, etc. I think drummers are generaly the type of musicians with less musical knowledge, but with the most fisical skill. Drums are probably the hardest kind of percussive instrument and should not be compared with melodic ones.

  • @andreisidro I agree. I also play bass guitar. I understand music pretty well and drums are definitely weird. ou cannot write "music". Its just beats

  • i didnt like it sorry not really but still try a different stly or somethin

  • straight up...this is punk/thrash drumming. you're style couldn't be more defined. i drum for a thrash band myself...fun as shit but you're right there are parts in songs that can get boring

  • this shit sucks ballz, i bet lars ulrich is better ( haha not really) they both suck

  • que mierda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  • this is just shit! and the kit sounds like shit too!

  • nice heel-toe technique

  • sounds like fist in ass, notso punk, like those blast beats.. trashmetal? i actually see in this vid one punk beat and your shitty drums ruins it. : / youre not like total shit, get metronome

  • bro u gotta learn to do ur half beats better! the cymbol and the snare must be hit at the same time in the 'a'.....

  • shitty drummer

  • mucho mejor el tempo, pero no perfecto, MEJORALO!

  • It's good but thrash isn't just skank beats the whole time.

  • Really? Drummng takes no effort and is easy to play? Then stop playing in 4\4 buddy. Drums is one of the most difficult instruments to play. Playing the drums, good, on time, great grooves takes ALOT of skill. I bet anything that you DON'T play drums, or even know anything about the amazing instrument.

  • @CrusaderBand Yo....I see where your coming from but also I can see where that guy is coming from too. I mean im not the greatest drummer in the world and ill admit that im not that great but I do it to have fun. But I can see where that guy is coming from because of the fact that I've played drums in punk bands and let me tell you... it gets boring. I'm not very inspired to learn more stuff these days but I do know a lot of funk grooves too though.

  • @zigg3ns of course....I play in a punk band but my preferred genre is funk and jazz.....because punk, most rock, and really mainstream music in general is unbearably repetitive.

  • @zigg3ns Bro,you are just skimming the edge of what you call "PUNK" drumming. To say you are no longer inspired by it or that is is boring shows that you are not willing to put the time into learning new fills, timing and styles.Granted this video is from 2008 and I would like to see a newer vid from you before I go ripping. But there is much more to the art of punk/thrash drumming young grass hoppa.

  • @dCaHnAnOyS yeah. Maybe I should make a new video. I feel like I definitely got better. I dont know if I should take down these videos though and put up new ones or if I should just leave them

  • @zigg3ns I wouldn't take um down.

There is nothing wrong with any of these videos. Use them as a stepping stone to show your self and others where you came from.Live, learn and grow. Listen to every style of drumming you can and take it all in.There are many styles by many drummers out there that may spark new interest in punk and thrash for you.Never give up and never become closed minded.

    Keep doing your thing.

  • @CrusaderBand Hey man. I get what your trying to say that drumming is the hardest imstrument to play, and i agree with you. But me, ive been drumming for about 3 years (with my own kit) and i find it incredibly easy to make beats above 230-bpm while adding my own style to jamming. I aint trying to bust you up or anything, im just lettin you know that many people can grasp things very easily.

  • @CrusaderBand well said, drums are easy to play badly but amazingly hard to play well, i think this dude needs a lot more practice but thats my opinion, everyone thinks playing drums just involves the rock beat played fast and hard but those are the people that will never reach their full potential just like this guy, oh and before anyone starts saying im a dick, im a drummer that plays at an expert level, ive played in thrash metal bands but mainly technical metal, and i use a JJ pearl custom.

  • @CrusaderBand i hav 2 agree with u on that 1 man......even though i play guitar,...i wud admit that the drums are extremely hard 2 play. it's hard 4 me 2 keep track of the beats & my arm & leg movements. So all u people out there who say that drums are easy or something especially the 1s who don't play drums, try doin what this dude in the video did & then talk

  • @CrusaderBand

It's easy to play the drums. It's hard to standout on the drums.

  • First of all DoctorSoctopus, don't get any of your informatio from wikipedia. There's a good chance of it being bullshit seeing as anyone can go on and change anything. And this is very easy and boring drumming. There is nothing thrash about this really. Execpt a few parts.

  • @CrusaderBand all drumming is easy, it takes hardly any skill.im a drummer in a band, im just the drummer.

  • @bugatti94v thats why i hate playing drums in bands

  • @bugatti94v

    You sir, are a moron.

  • coooeeel

  • I could listen to him for hours.

  • nice, keep trying, and also tape a little bit of tissue paper to your snare to dampin some of that horrible overtone, =)

  • snare sounds like shit

  • Cool!!!

  • fuckin deadle dude. wish i lived in ny

  • nice kick

  • It was pretty boring, but i like that beat with powerful bass part. Good, keep going :)

  • this some bomb ass shit. i dont play drums but now i would like to try

  • insane =)

  • muito foda,do caralho.

  • im exhausted

  • nothing special

  • DUDE you shud totally make a song with this

  • Yeah the whole argument is irrelevant what's important is that your drumming is awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree, his drumming is awesome but I am sure he is probably laughing at our comments because I get a kick out of people debating on my uploads.

  • First, there was punk. Then, punk developed into hardcore, and hardcore combined with metal, to create.... THRASH. thrash was not before hardcore, and it bugs me when people say thrash was first. You can even check wikipedia, as much as I hate it when people get all of their info from it.

  • yes punk was first. It's common sense. A lot of bands in the late 80's had a thrashy style although it wasn't considered thrash. Im more of a punk rock person and early hardcore person as well but I like everything

  • @DoctorSoctopus

Actually underground punk zines described intense hardcore with the word Thrash before Thrash metal even existed. All the pioneers of thrash metal were influenced by hardcore (thrashcore) bands and just polished their style with NWOBM.

  • @DoctorSoctopus cuz yanno wikipedia is an accurate source

  • in the beginning

do you hit the ride at the same time as the bass pedal ?

  • 2:09 sounds like some fast ass ska beat lol

  • Cool Heel Toe technique at 0:37.

  • you're pretty much the worst drummer ever... WTF is this crap, you suck.

  • looks like hard core '-'

  • hard core drums is mostly based on punk and thrash

  • hardcore is hardcore punk, and thrash is based off of hardcore. duh.

  • thrash was b4 hardcore stuff came out and hardcore started from punk

  • nice

  • That my favorite beat dude! Black metal punk polka. The classic DRI 1, 2, drum beat.

  • I like that, great

  • rock on dude

  • pretty gnarly, fuck you to say add more variety, if he added more variety he wouldn't have a standard beat to play with the song.

  • Hey dude whats that technique your using at like 1:22? Kinda sounds like some crazy fast ass Punk Smelly from NOFX plays.

  • NOFX rules.

    Nice video by the way.

  • when i hear the first minute of the drums i can say to my self CIRCLE PIT....lol

  • really needs a guitar going with it, but that looks about right. cool.

  • You should play the straight beat like this all time

    Bassdrum + Hihat

    Snare + Hihat

  • bit too repetive, need more different fills

  • Oh my GOD. Shoot me in the face and call me EVERT. This was godawfull. I'm sorry man, but you HAVE TO vary it ALOT MORE. COMEON. LISTEN to some different rock/punk/thrashbeats goddamn it! WHAT IS THIS? ;_____;

  • damn you must be tired after all that

  • boring!

  • slit my wrist and watch it bleed...

  • muito foda! pra Hardcore essa pegada eh muito boa

  • your rolls are amazing man keep up the good work and save up for some double bass

  • I like it very much, finally a guy who knows what is punk/thrash.

the metalists stole our shit and made it look pathtic.

  • dunno I just don't like it sorry

  • nice

  • fuck lol :D its fuckin sweet

  • nice tom work

  • not bad, throw a double in there.

  • asi no se toka ese ritmo

    penka

  • nice work

  • this is really cool. nice work man

  • nice variations on the right back.

  • was that ur poor attempt to make a rhyme, cuz just so u kno, its not a rhyme

  • say what you want cunt

  • Wtf? retard, learn to spell

  • Slayer was influenced by punk.

  • thrash is punk/metal.

  • Slayer was influenced by Hardcore ;)

which came from punk essensially lol

  • slayer was around way before hardcore was even thought of. im sure you know what you are talking about but i dont think that is correct. no offence though dude

  • no they wern't man, Jeff Hanneman was massivley influenced by the early 80's hardcore scene, Minor threat, Black flag, GBH, TSOL, Bad Brains. Thats why they made undisputed attitued, to tribute the bands that influenced them.

    :)

im a HUGE hardcore fan lol

  • but isnt the 80s hardcore scene stuff like punk but heavier? where as new hardcore stuff like winds of plague sounds terrible.. no offense though im not trying to sound like a dick, but in my oppinion hardcore music now sounds like shit. im sorry that i didnt put that a nicer way

  • yeah dont worry man :P Im a true Hardcore fan lol. Into the 80's stuff. I agree most the new hardcore stuff isnt great. Cancer bats are ok tho, SSS n hatebreed arnt too bad either. but yeah, Slayer were influenced by the original Hardcore scene :)

and dont worry Im not like other youtubers that will burn you for trying to get your veiw across everyone is entitled to one :)

  • thanks dude, more people need to be like you on this damn site. like i dont even say things that are offensive and people want to start arguments with me and "fight" its stupid. like i said to a drum cover of a children of bodom song i said it was a good cover but it could be flawless if you were really playing for 5 years. and the guy starts talking shit about me. ive been druming for 2 months short of a year and i can damn near play the song perfect but i cant upload on my laptop. dumbass ppl

  • Finally, someone who knows what hardcore actually means *high fives*

  • @gbncsrht fuck slayer bunch of metal head sons of bitches

  • If your play like this in a gig, you would get kicked out. Cuz the people couldn't handle this. Great Job!!!

  • heheeeiiiii!!! dude!!!

    you're good at this...

just some adjustments i'd do if I were you...

your bases ar a bit repetitive, which isn't bad for thrash, but try to introduce more variations in the snare (thrash 's got great fast snare ghost shots that fills the empty spaces and avoids that mindblowing "tachitachitachitachi") and a double kick pedal... I'm sure you're going to sound amazing.

LOVE WHOT YOU DO WITH THE RIDE!!!

    Saludos Argentinos che!

    -Nat's-

  • WOW! I'm over here air drumming dude!! Good stuff!!

  • this is nuts

  • penis:)

  • the best i've seen

    your awesome man

wish i could meet you in person!

    u rock!!!!!!!!!!!!
