  • LOVE this band/song! Even moreso now at age 50. Also check out a band called 'Love And Money', in the same vein. Beautiful, haunting, melodious stuff!

  • The Big Dish live ABC Glasgow 21/01/2012. Part of Celtic Connections

  • @MrRossdrums

Aye the Daily Record had a page on the web about it and even used my upload as the video to advertise their comeback!

  • One of the most underrated bands, every track is beautiful and memorable.

  • When I'm fed up with radio junk out comes Satellites and I never tire of it. Tunes!

  • I have loved this track for years. Listen to the album Satellites if you can, all the tracks are great. Craig Armstrong and Steve Lindsay together made great music.

  • How this wasn't a top 10 hit is beyond me. It's just oozes class and it's just a topping song that would deserve to make any chart at any time. Still, it's our secret!

  • Steven lindsay is a song writing genuis.

he's wrote so many beautiful songs and the music is listenable to anyone of any age. fantastic band... should have been..HUGE !!

Ive 2 Big Dish cd's both are fantastic,

  • Agreed!

    Promised SO much & then......

    So sad!

  • @craighunter73 Don't be sad. Perhaps a haiku may help?:

    Flowers

    Big tall red stuff

    In a vase

    On a table

    In my house

  • Where are they now, frying burgers, stacking shelves? Good song, though! All those years ago and the promise of better songs that never materialised...

  • Very catchy tune and yes, as somebody remarked earlier VERY underrated. It's the sort of tune that I can play over & over again and not sick of it.

  • i have the satellites by the big dish but cant seem to find it on i tunes or anywhere else....big mistake as its a brill album

I preffered them to Big C... although when I met tony butler a few years later, had a few beers with him, but too polite to say I had loved Big Dish Better.
