LOVE this band/song! Even moreso now at age 50. Also check out a band called 'Love And Money', in the same vein. Beautiful, haunting, melodious stuff!
what a tune takes me back to Franklyns lounge Bellshill Scotland The DJ in that place was well fit great voice and played some of the best music of my youthful years he pioneered a lot of great tunes before any other Djs ... Hence the name Seansangels ..I know his name was Sean ( believe we got called this as we used to congragate by his DJ booth) anyone now if hes still a DJ wink wink ! Gooooood Times never forgotten !
I have loved this track for years. Listen to the album Satellites if you can, all the tracks are great. Craig Armstrong and Steve Lindsay together made great music.
How this wasn't a top 10 hit is beyond me. It's just oozes class and it's just a topping song that would deserve to make any chart at any time. Still, it's our secret!
Where are they now, frying burgers, stacking shelves? Good song, though! All those years ago and the promise of better songs that never materialised...
Hiya Rockchick. Was that supporting Big Country. I saw them at the Big Country gig in about 1985 or 6 at Ingleston. Big Dish were fantastic. I preffered them to Big C... although when I met tony butler a few years later, had a few beers with him, but too polite to say I had loved Big Dish Better.
my fav band ever!!! seen them live twice in the early 90s Steven lindsay is smashin singer but was disap wi his kita solo albulm. swimmer is a single track on the albulm entitled swimmer by the way!
brilliant ,beautiful song, cant stop singing it,joyfull.will post my cover version in next few months.wont be as good i doubt, but wont be for lack of trying.
Saw them live in Leeds and Manchester. They were were good guys, played great music and deserved better.
Had a laugh with The McClusky brothers who were backing them at the time, it was strange seeing them make a come back with "young at heart " ( Bluebells ) on a T.V advert that was big at the time who`s product I forget
thanks for puting this on I loved this band steven lyndsey for a great singer/songwriter .I lost my album with this on it Satallites anyone know where I could get hold of it? thanks again.

Very catchy tune and yes, as somebody remarked earlier VERY underrated. It's the sort of tune that I can play over & over again and not sick of it.
