A small boat is big enough to carry anti ship missiles and yes that can damage or sink all but the biggest ships in the US navy. So they need to be wary of even small boats. Iran could not hope to win a war with the US but it could cause a lot of damage and lots of casualties. A few of our ships sank, a couple hundred of our planes shot down, 20-25000 of our people killed, no leave the crazy bastards alone. Get tough if necessary but don't go looking for a fight, we might just loose.
