I did FOSE the way you said. but when i use a mod like the Pipboy PDA in the game a screen comes up saying that i need to install FOSE which i did. PLEASE HELP!!!

wait? Did you just say that FOMM will decrease your game from crashing? Then you turned right back around and said that it will cause your game to crash! Im confused!

@MtthwSmmns Sorry for that, What I mean is adding mods will increase your chances to CTD (Crash to desktop). But using FOMM to manage the loading of the mods, will decrease those chances. It seems like it would cancel it out and it is hard to explain, but adding mods to a game (especially one by bethesda) can cause the game to glitch more. FOMM tries to resolve these issues by loading the most important data first.

@Sm0kaCola ah... gotcha. Sorry i was like what? Yea i have installed my mods through FOMM and my game seems to be much much better. A saved file that i had would load up fine but when i went to exit out of rivet city it would crash, now it works now that i installed through FOMM instead of just installing directly through the data file. It was alittle more complicated to do it through FOMM but was well worth it.

omg your are the best i bought this game on pc version it was game of year as well i been having trouble dowloading mods because at first i dowloaded it in data folder but your not spose to do that and when i did dowload the mods in data i had gun mod and ever time i move the camera it it went diferent colours and blury thx :)

@Sm0kaCola Yeah. I was trying to get FOOK installed on my new gaming PC, but now I've totally messed up my Fallout 3. Luckily I don't have any files that I'm totally attached to. Things get complicated when you start running MMM, WMK, FOOK, RH Iron Sights, and a few other small mods :( I really want FOOK. Perhaps I'll uninstall and do a clean install, nice and organized...

hey man cool video.

i am having issue with fook2 textures.especially with such items as berets and other helmets,a pip os error with the aviator cap and other helmets.when i try to use them i get the giant red box.Ive gone over everything several times.quite frustrating i must say.any tips?

i have added fook just a while ago but the clour's are acting realy weird

if the light is very bright my gun turns white and my armor too

i also cant use a few weapons becaus the are big red triangles

Ok.

I finnaly got FOSE to work but and the files are in the Fallout 3 root folder.

But when I start the game it says I have the retail version of the game and won't start up.

Could you help..again lol.

I have windows Vista.

I've only just started pc gaming, so i'm not very good with mods and files.

Although I did manage downloading the GECK and I can make my own weapons, I can't seem to get the hang of this.

I've downloaded FOOK2 and now I just need FOSE, WMK and MMM.

Could you please help me to download and install all these.

I'm in England by the way so do you think that could cause a problem???

@spartancommander117 FOSE/WMK/MMM are all in this tutorial, as long as you watch all 3 videos you shouldn't have an issue with installing them. Download links are provided as well.

I'm hearing rumers that FOSE is the same as the GECK.

Is this true?

I'm having trouble downloading the folder of FOSE it comes up with the second file down when you open the FOSE folder on your video, how do I download the full folder?

@spartancommander117 The GECK is used to create items, FOSE loads you fallout disabling windows live, also it expands the abilities of the scripting in fallout. All the download links are in the description.

Hmm my FOSA gets an error saying That i have the reatil version of the game and need to patch it to the latest version so i dl the German 1.7 patch instal it then it directly starts the game i exit it try to lunch FOSE fail same msg again need to update blah blah How the fk should i fix this -.-? 2st: Where can I find a nightview ? I saw in the FOOK2 Optionsmenu (holding C) it will pop up, that I can define a key for nightview, but I dont care, where to get one.

Hey man for some reason everything runs perfectly fine but in the game the Supermutants will not equip any guns but they will have them in there invitory. Do you have this same problem? Any ideas?
