  • This really is the only real burnout i've seen on youtube with a spyder..... Is there no way to lock the front tires and smoke em standing still?

  • badass. i want one now. lol. top speed is 110, and mileage, according to the dealer in down is about 50. perfect combo. im thinking i need one of these for college.

  • FINNNNALLLLYYYY!!!! someone who actually can do a burnout with the spyder!!! all the others are lame...

  • very good 1.3g's is the same as a bmw m5, sweet.

  • Fuckin' nice!

  • dueshbag, it disdick in ur mouwth, all nite wong

  • how can i turn off the traction control on this thing?

  • There is no way that I know of.

  • he's right they make them so you can't turn off the VSS or any of the other safety features

  • @issaaburagheb you remove the speed sensors from the wheels and tie them off out of the way of things. Pretty stupid thing to do though.

  • that burnout means nothing. spyders max speed is like 110mpg and its torque isn't great. stop pretending like its a sports bike and realize the spyder is a glorified scooter. a 16k scooter >_>

  • 110mpg? lol

  • yeah because having nearly 100hp and 70ft-lbs of torque is soooo slow

considering it has twice the power of a "big" harley and only 10ft-lbs less

the harley revs to 5500rpm the can am revs to 8500rpm

  • now take the training wheels off.. and get a two wheeled bike....

  • can it do a wheelie?

  • No. It has sensors to stop that from happening. Plus if it did lift and it leaned to one side and came down 1 wheel first it wouldn't be pretty.

  • The wheel spin is allowed by the spyder up till around 35-40mph or if the steering angle gets over it's limit to induce a tipping situation, during our test ride at the reveal in SanDiego, the engineers let us in on some of the things that the bike would allow, yet get either front tire off the ground for any amount of time and the bike kills power and will apply breaking to stabilize the ride, with VSS systems disabled the bike can corner something like 1.3g's engineers were somewhat hush.

  • sounds like a 4 wheeler I cant belive the can make that ugly pos street legal but I cant make my raptor street legal!! WHAT THE FUCK!

  • It's because a 4 wheeler has to have the same safety standards as a car like airbags, seat belts, windshield and wipers, impact absorbing bumpers and a host of other things that cars have to have. The Spyder is thought of a motorcycle or a trike so it does not fall into that catagory. You should try one and maybe you'll think differently.

  • what about dune buggys

  • I meant a new vehicle. I think that because most use a VW beetle chassis they are registered as one but I am not sure. Kit cars may fall into a different catagory also but I am not sure.

  • Back home in Montana four wheelers are legal on the street. (In my town anyway) They have to have a horn, windshield, and turn signals.

  • how did you bypass the safety for wheel spin

  • how did you bypass the safety for wheel spin

  • i wish it sound better
