Did you guys know you could link 2 psx1's together and play 2 players on 2 tv's monitors..

Man I blissfully wasted some entire days playing this on 2 player the strategy involved in this FAR surpassed the later versions

@zehammered if i remember right this came out in 96' and later about 4 years red alert 2 came out i am not entirely sure if the first red alert was still popular around 2001 but i may be wrong

You could destroy pillboxes with grenadiers or rocket soldiers, but destroying Flame Towers with infantry, if player repairs it was totally insane :D LOVE RA!!!!!!!!

Playing this game multi-player 1 vs 1 on a map equally split into 2 different section at tech level 1 was insane. 1000 troops required to take out 1 machine gun nest! No hope when you both have insane amounts of pillbox's facing each other with the border of the player's army being effectively no man's land. Good memories!

Thanks for the uploads of red alerts sound track. I use to know these songs so well, and often played them in my head while doing combat training/exercises in the army with real physical brutal work. Made it a little more bearable.

the songs nowadays are long not as good as the ones those days.

Replace the RA1 music .mix file with the RA2 music .mix file and you'll have this music in those games (I'm not 100% sure: I didn't tried this myself! If you try this yourself, make a backup!)
