"We call it a spoiler". No, actually we call that why I don't watch any of the national news channels. Politicized rhetoric, from the brain droppings of fools.
Mr. Barr does not exactly light a libertarian fire. He lost a close race to a "D" when the Libertarian Party got on the ballot. The Drug war made him a target, so he abandoned it. I hope he gets elected as a libertarian somewhere.
obama been bought and paid for with the economy as bad as it is he will never be able to deliver on his promises he just the face for the next 8 years we are all fucked
Yay! Even more Tyranny! More Fascism! And a lot more Socialism! Yay! I'm so glad he won! He's the perfect symbol for America! The "New America!"
I'm going to predict, but not going to bet money on this... That Obama will only be a one term president because people are starting to wake the fuck up! Hopefully our next president will be for LIBERTY for a change! When was the last time that happened?
I voted for Mr. Barr and I am proud of it. Its sad that in our two party system, the outsiders get little to no exposure and are left off of ballots and out of debates. When the commission for presidential debates was formed and took it away from the League of Women Voters it slammed the door on outsiders like Ross Perot, Bob Barr, etc.
Bob, if you hadn't turned on Ron Paul, you would have gotten significantly better support. You chased a lot of us to others like Chuck Baldwin and *gasp* McBama.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin. We need to continue to try and get people to listen and wake up to what is going on in this country by continueing to vote in Rep and Dems.
I was going to vote for you Bob, but unfortunately you weren't available on the Louisiana Ballot. I can't express how upset I was. I voted for Nader, but you were my first choice.
That's nice to here. And here I thought everyone who doesn't live in the US is/was in the tank for Obama. It's a crying shame that most Americans actually fell for cheap slogans and cliches.
Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one at my high school who isn't in the tank for Obama. They dont even understand his policies, and I have to explain them to them- VERY SLOWLY
Today I turned in my big metaphorical middle finger into the ballot box. I voted for Bob Barr for president and the Constitution Party for everything else (the Libertarian Party isn't too active in Oregon).
No matter what these corporate news polls say, I think third parties will get 10% of the vote this year.
Bob, thank you for not dropping out of the race. I will definitely vote for you. I'm disgusted by McCain, and I hope that something will happen to help you at least win one state. Thanks again Bob, and good luck.

Still cracks me up this goofball is claiming Libertarian. He authored a bill to use the federal government to tyrannize marijuana patients. Now that his career as a Republican has been found extinct, he decided to "convert", and claims to support marijuana in order to connect the base.
Have you not done things in life that you later regret? We all make mistakes...
No one is perfect. I have MUCH! for respect for a politician that says something like "My previous position was a mistake. It did not work. I want to try something new...", rather than try to BS me with double talk.
Plenty. I have even done things I regret that negatively effected a few people other than myself. Although similar in principle, the scale is far off. My actions were largely individual, but the decisions of a politician in office can do things to the entire country. Also, marijuana legalization is THE critical issue to me, so I prefer not to encourage previous bad behavior.
Other than that, he talks the ideological language as good as Ayn Rand.
I've made many mistakes when I was younger. So, I know what you are saying. I believe we are on the same page in agreeing that the issue of marijuana legalization. (state level decision)
If you and I had each had careers as Congressmen or Senators, for extended periods, some of the decisions we made would be mistakes, and they would effect large numbers of people.
Examplea: FDR's internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII. Now, it's viewed as a mistake
I wish you would win man but you are not going to win cause the media dislikes u and truth in these days will not prevail until tribulation. i wish i was old enough to vote but i am only 17. i hope you don't take away votes from palin so that the end result is obama. may God be with us all
One day before the election?! Now they want you to know there are more than two candidates?! Did this "news organization" just check youtube or something?
I voted for barr and also talked my brother into doing the same!! give it time these ideas will come around!

In Ohio, I just voted.
I was quite happy to climb on my 1984 Harley Davidson, ride down to the local church which is my polling location, and carefully vote for Bob Barr.
I didn't "throw my vote away".
I voted my conscious.
And I didn't vote for the Lesser of Evils!
Having a clean conscious is more important than winning.
