actually if you just wait till the island is fully established the plank will be there... you have to get the carpenter.... then escort a gambler from bowerstone... sleep a few days and when you receive the xbox achievement for driftwood... go back to that stone pedestal and the ramp will be there :)

the glitch worked fine for me, and after i finally hit the flitswitch it moved i used the map to free myself and then i got the achievement for the area. afterword i went back and the ramp had appeared so i think it doesn't appear until you get the achievement "an island paradise".

i had to do this but i just returned to driftwood and the plank you need appears after driftwood has been settled in for a little while. when you see mines in driftwood youre good to go.

@JflynnW I don't know if it works then same on Xbox if that is your platform but always make 2 savefiles of your character in the saving room so you can load the backup one if the first one messes up.
@JflynnW save your game in the spot your stuck then dashboard load your game up again and then you should be able to go to the sanctrum then fast travel somewhere
@IXtRISnipez I had to do the same thing since I got stuck at least 3 times. the only thing you can do really is what JflynnW said. Just rollover a house close to the taller bridge and fast travel from your map should take you right there before the bridge if you keep getting stuck when trying to slide down the hill. That worked for me without having to go all the way to the beginning of driftwood which is a pain. Hope that helps!
@Smartik1 It is meant to be melee. continue to other quest and visit from time to time and it will appear with a plank of would going up. you will know when the time is right becuase a dock and a new store will be built and appear at that time as well

Slept for several days in game to no avail. Decided to stand in front of the gap and visit the Road to Rule. Upon leaving the RtR, the bridge was built.
I think this doesnt work for the PC version. Tried it but dont get over that stone with the tree (at 3:10). Perhaps its a little different. Thanks anyway for that trick

good vid dude for those that do glitch but 9 times out of 10 its just that you need to do side quests you missed and sleep in your bed before your island is complete if you ever wanna really help a glitch no one can figure out it's the get stuck in reavers mansion with all doors shut and wheel won't turn and 9 times out of 10 people are on auto save so there chars are stuck in the room like my char of 50 hours and some one else i know that has 75 hours that is a glitch now

You need to bring the rich gambler from Bowerstone Market (Cock and the Crown) to driftwood and he will finance the rest of the buildings (The plank will appear)

@Katergroip Did you get the key in the begining of the video? For some reason after getting that then vaulting like I did in the video is how you go over.
@switchf3lade I did, but when I vaulted and landed on that rock, I get stuck between it and the tree. I ended up figuring it out after much trouble, so the "cheat" worked regardless ;]
@switchf3lade Ehi man, the catalyst is not the key.... when u are on the mountain, there is a little wall u can jump. jump it and then jump it back, then u can wal like in the video.... Hope this needs u ;) (sry for the english, im italian ;) )
@Katergroip If you still couldn't get it,or if anyone else has the same issue, try pressing A as though your truing to vault over it. I did that and id worked (though I'm not sure it was actually cuz I pressed A or not...)

@floodedkyro117 Yea you don't play everyone's Xbox, everyone experiences different glitches in Fable III (And other games). Just cause this never happened to you doesn't mean its never happened. In this instance a lot of people don't have this plank even though the carpenter quest is complete. I just made a short cut so you don't have to keep going back and forth until it appears.
@switchf3lade Ok so i did the same glitch without having the island paradise achievement unlocked, but the catalyst isn't getting the silver key, it is when you vault that wall at the top of the hill... vault the wall then run off the other side through the invisible wall... just followed what you did and it worked like a charm
@schlicterjones17 It was in my case at least. I did it the first time thinking the Vault was the Catalyst but upon trying to replicate it it didn't work so retracing all the steps I did I found getting the key was what did it for me. I don't care if its different for you or anyone else because the majority of people who watch my videos say its accurate for them.

Lol I love how all these people try to troll on Switchf3lades methods, And he comes back to own them, And the plank.. It appears after like 3 weeks(In game, Not irl.) And the small "Island getaway" Area mostly becomes a new small settlement, that will fall to my evil...Govermantal...plans.. >:)

@switchf3lade I did, but when I vaulted and landed on that rock, I get stuck between it and the tree. I ended up figuring it out after much trouble, so the "cheat" worked regardless ;]

@switchf3lade Ehi man, the catalyst is not the key.... when u are on the mountain, there is a little wall u can jump. jump it and then jump it back, then u can wal like in the video.... Hope this needs u ;) (sry for the english, im italian ;) )

@Katergroip If you still couldn't get it,or if anyone else has the same issue, try pressing A as though your truing to vault over it. I did that and id worked (though I'm not sure it was actually cuz I pressed A or not...)

this was incredibly helpful, the plank is just refusing to appear for me. Also, could you tell me what equipment your using (the armour looks absolutely sick, is it the male warrior one?)

omfg you are all so stupid, this isnt a glitch, you just havent comepleted all the quests. there are 3, giftwood, island get away and pest control. pest control is first and after you beat you wait a while untill the next quest pops up, giftwood and then do island getaway where you bring the gamebler to driftwood. wait a while and the plank will appear, its not a glitch you fucking idiots...

@floodedkyro117 Yea you don't play everyone's Xbox, everyone experiences different glitches in Fable III (And other games). Just cause this never happened to you doesn't mean its never happened. In this instance a lot of people don't have this plank even though the carpenter quest is complete. I just made a short cut so you don't have to keep going back and forth until it appears.

@switchf3lade Ok so i did the same glitch without having the island paradise achievement unlocked, but the catalyst isn't getting the silver key, it is when you vault that wall at the top of the hill... vault the wall then run off the other side through the invisible wall... just followed what you did and it worked like a charm

I did it the first time thinking the Vault was the Catalyst but upon trying to replicate it it didn't work so retracing all the steps I did I found getting the key was what did it for me. I don't care if its different for you or anyone else because the majority of people who watch my videos say its accurate for them.

@switchf3lade dude i grabbed the key the first time when i was in driftwood,and then later i completed the bridge building dude,but there is no wooden bridge and i cannot hit that crap with my sword,does the fact that i collected the key earlier has to do with that bridge???
