The portal was duplicated, its a but, it was fixed in a later version, you entered the nether in 1.2.0 update and the bug was still in it and it created a second portal in the normal world, in update 1.2.1 it was fixed but the second portal that you didn't Create is still there, simply remove the portal or any one of blocks to the second portal to fix it and a third portal shouldn't appear. After that is done you can enter and exit the nether in the portal in your base.

pumpkins are not found in the nether moron!!!!! and i have never found pumpkins in one of my worlds i made before the halloween update so you have to make a new world to get pumpkins, oh and open your invintory and put a pumpkin on your avatars head ( in the crafting box put a torch under a pumpkin to make a lantern)

Blacks ops is awesome. I saw someone saying that snipers aren't used anymore. People do use them and quickscoping doesn't exist but fast sniping does. Most people just use them as you would back in MW2 if you didn't know how to quickscope. Like a normal sniper.

Black Ops is OK, good balance, weapons are fun, but the spawns are hideous, and the RC car is a monstrosity you need to kill with fire.

black ops is good... but all games have their flaws. and the rc xd car is the biggest through my opinion its a predator missile on wheels that is only a 3kill streak so all the big boys have that on instead of spy plane something that actually builds up your killstreaks and helps teammates. noob tubing is still there but its more annoying in hardcore matches. the spawns arent broken as what everyone says its just they are built so that people cannot spawn trap the other team as easily

CoD: Blops is meh. The singleplayer could be replaced by a cutscene and it wouldn't make much of a difference. As for the MP, it's basically MW2 with different killstreaks and just a small amount less bullshit (there's still a decent amount of it). I'd only recommend it to those people who like to buy the same mediocre game multiple times.
