I'm watching soccer more and more, there are so many games on tv all the time. Soccer has two 45 minute halfs with NO COMMERCIALS except during halftime. To say that a soccer player can easily play baseball is a travesty and only shows a lack of sport knowledge. In baseball you need to have a good arm, good eye-HAND coordination, speed, and it is also about making decisions quick. I'm not saying a baseball player can easily master soccer, to say that would be a travesty as well.
Gridiron and baseball players can ONLY play those sports. Most are not in shape, have low skill levels and learn only one skill. Footballers could easily take a pay cut and play gridiron or baseball, but why would they do that?

Mainly because there's no prerequisite to playing the game (example: the taller you are in basketball the better you'll be, generally)

I think the US lost all the soccer fans it had gained over the course of the World Cup in the last 10-15 minutes of the game against Ghana. Watching the Ghana players take flops, fake injuries, walk around aimless, take their time at every opportunity all to milk the clock, what a pathetic display. To say that a soccer player can easily play baseball is a travesty and only shows a lack of sport knowledge. In baseball you need to have a good arm, good eye-HAND coordination, speed, and it is also about making decisions quick. I'm not saying a baseball player can easily master soccer, to say that would be a travesty as well.

Gridiron and baseball players can ONLY play those sports. Most are not in shape, have low skill levels and learn only one skill. Footballers could easily take a pay cut and play gridiron or baseball, but why would they do that?

@wowowkun - I'm with you dude, I'm in my mid 20s now but I also played soccer, basketball, track at the varsity level (and D3 soccer at college) and it's true about soccer players being most likely to cross over to other sports. Mainly because there's no prerequisite to playing the game (example: the taller you are in basketball the better you'll be, generally)
