What makes you think he's weak? Because aizen owned him and he seemed to be slightly losing to gin? What about the fact that he was able to hold his own against lupi, who is at least near Grim's level since she replaced him temporarily. Where as bankai ichigo's strongest attack barely even cut grim.

but keep in mind that grimmjow killed luppi without even trying once he got his arm back. not to mention that the only reason he was demoted was because of th fact that he got an arm blown off. aizen was pretty much just punishing grimmjow for disobeying his orders, after all grimmjow was never suppsed to actually attack ichigo the first time let alone the next time.

True, but still, Hitsugaya *is* the youngest Captain ever, so his Bankai isn't complete, and he hasn't learnt to totally control it. And who could teach him how to, anyway? He has the strongest ice-related zanpaktou in Seireitei, so really, he's on his own. Also, his opponents can all use his height against him.
