  • Well aware. This did produce a confirmed tornado just to the north of where I turned around. The conditions were partly the reason for turning around as the speed and visibility made it quite dangerous to attempt going further north.

  • There really wasn't much shelf. It just got dark all of a sudden. The hazy cloud cover and speed of the storm hid the storm until it was right there.

  • There was not much rotation where I first thought I saw it, but there was on that cloud approaching as I sped down the road.
